Though it is 90% stainless steel, including the body and front cap. I am mixing in aluminum in non-wear/non stressed areas to save weight, such as the rear recessed on/off switch and the front switch button. Both are recessed, non wear items so i'm able to use aluminum and save weight. Also hidden inside the front cap resides a delrin insert to house the removeable switch assembly and front spring assembly.

I'm trying to envision how the front cap with an insert that holds the switch, which must be oriented with the button, works. If it threads on, how does the button get oriented to activate the switch? Maybe the button depresses a lever which activates the switch? I'm guessing that insert must be positionable (rotatable) to fine tune its placement relative to the lever/button... and once placed, you generally wouldn't open the top cap again.

Can't wait to see the inner workings of this thing :)

nice looking. i would definitely buy. my big question is how good is this for a HEAVY HEAVY vaper? my biggest thing is avoiding having to top off all the time, or constantly drip. is this one of them self-feeding juice well type mods?

the selffeeding thing isn't built onto this (as far as I know)..but david has one in the machine shop getting ready.

David I'm loving that battery. Sold my Precise because of the 10440 and I could never get my groove on with the bottom switch. I will say that the Precise had the best machining of any of the PVs I've seen and I've seen more than a few..I love the stainless, I love the switch location and most of all I'm loving that batttery...I rotate 2 AW 18650s a day now....never let one go dead ...but waining......Where's the line start???

this is just the mod, but the battery should give you a 2,3,4 of days of vaping. I have a juice feeder coming out soon that will hold up to 30ml, so you can vape a week i on that. The juice feeded will fit most any mod with a 510, 306 or 901 atomizer.

that thing looks freaking cool, david!
quick questions:
will it still accept the AW IMR26500?
any pics of the "drop in sleeve"?
will the sleeve be delrin or metal?
what price range are you aiming for?

david, i saw that you mentioned making a different version of this for the AW cell, and that your plan is to also create a more accessible model of the 26650 made without the integrated on/off switch.

are you able to say anything about the material for the drop in sleeve, whether this works with both slotted and non-slotted versions, and can you give a ballpark figure for these three or four (potentially six or eight counting slotted/non-slotted) variations? thanks.

Well, why would you be afraid, you know i'm famous for making some of the smallest designs possible, the key word is up to 30ml:) This is an all new design, never before seen in the ecig world, it isn't like current systems such as the AFS.

I'm super curious to see how this works with sleeved 510/901 style attys as well as the exposed bridge 306 type attys... very cool stuff you make.
