I've been snatching up every one of the latest juice mods to date; seems a slew all at once.
Your assessment is pretty much the state of "advanced" mods, and your pointing them out occurs to me as not so reassuring to me... hmm.

Come to think of it, I have never had a better vape than when i have dripped just the right amount of juice into the atty from the top.
Is your Vape Mate what is called a top feeder for that reason???
Is it possible that the Vape Mate is superior to bottom feeding for those reasons?

and are you talking about something different from the Vape Mate here for the ShockWave?

I just believe i've come up with a much more effective, integrated and proficient juice feeder design then what is currently on the market. When bottom feed systems are about the only thing on the market, there's not too much to compare to. The complaints i've read on various bottom feed mods is: Changing the bottles is a pain, juice leaking back into the bottle and contaminating it, leaking esp at the atomizer and where the bottle screws in and the needle, gurgling sounds from sucking the juice, juice in the mouth from sucking up juice through the bottom of the atomizer etc.

I wouldn't say the VapeMate or top feed is superior to bottom feed, both arguably have their pro's and cons.

the latest juice feeds, the highly rated and popular Ali'i, Reo Mini and Grand, and the Phidius, are all bottom feed i assume; the Phid is a little different, but i am assuming because the bottle is on the bottom, they are bottom feeders.
There are very few issues of leaking into the box if not any, in my experience.

Is there or has there been a "top feeder" mod ? Please let me know which they were.
(i have been vaping about 3 months. that's a lot for some if like me, you vape all the time.)
My questions are purely for learning here.

If the Vape Mate simulates practically, dripping, from the top to the wick, it will provide a somewhat different experience; perhaps superior... i am not sure but sure do want to find out. will check into availability.

In your opinion, what are the pros and cons of the top feed?

thanks

i'm confusing the shockwave and vapemate here... sorry for hijacking;
but yes i guess i'd be more interested in a larger batt mod than the 14500; and you do have the V2 that is 18650 if i'm not mistaken, and this one here is even larger batt....
So how much longer for this super mod?

which would be a great base for the VapeMate :)

While researching sites for spare batteries for this, I noticed this caution at the bottom of page:
LiMnNi battery must be cut-off at <=4.2V/cell condition when charging and >= 2.0V when discharging

How does this affect the ShockWave?
Does the battery charger have a "smart" feature that will cut it off at 4.2? Does the Shockwave have a "smart" feature that will cut it off at 2.0v discharge?

Here's the page I saw this on: LiMnNi Rechargeable 26650 Cell: 3.7V 4000 mAh, 10A rated 14.8Wh - UN Approved (NDGR)

(might even be a totally different battery for all I know lol)

First, this is scheduled for a December release.

As far as the voltage, your battery will never go down to 2.0 volt as your Vapor Production will plummet in the low 3.0's long, before you ever hit 2.0 volts. As far as charging, your charger is designed to properly charge a battery to approximately 4.2 volt. I believe the WF 188 will work with these, i'll double check when i get some in here shortly.

Before the VV's came into existance, the vapor production plummet was an obvious conclusion. How easily befuddled one can get when visions of new mods dance in our heads. Without the Vv, we don't have to wonder a bit. I like that!

I did a bit more research (re-read pages to be more accurate), and they agree with your WF 188 theory. Lighthound IMR 26650 4000mAh LiMN rechargeable lithium battery

My charger is a trustfire TR-001 also rated with 4.2 output. It should be okay I would think. I'll check it with a meter now and then.

I'm reassured that all will be well... and in time for Christmas too. Woot!!
