So what do we have now zoiD? The right and left wings both agreeing on liberty and pursuit of happiness, while the "center" is not? Maybe it's not a "center" after all?

Could be. Or it could be that Blanket Generalities do not always gauge what people believe?

What I see we have is 215 people answering a Poll Question.

And out of those 215 people, about 88.5% believe that Selling e-liquids that contain Nicotine to Minors is Not a good idea.

"Not a good idea"? I might agree with that sentiment.

But I don't believe it's such a bad idea that it warrants sending in armed thugs in body armor if someone disagrees and does it anyway. ;)

Isn't that Discrimination against Body Armor wearing Armed Thugs?

Why would they believe that? Because they were convinced so via propaganda? And had no experience to tell them otherwise?

I grew up at a time and place where there were no restrictions on age for cigarettes. Neither for alcoholic drinks. It was customary that parents would send the kids to buy them smokes or a bottle of wine. We didn't smoke nor did we drink. It was "for adults". We were told we're too small for doing that. We'd burn our lungs / fall in the ditch like drunk men. We were already aware that certain activities were for adults only. Lifting heavy weights, driving cars, working etc. We were told to wait to grow up. We waited. Most of us took the habit during military service. We were already adults. Adults enough to kill.

As we've now seen in the other thread, accepting this limitation is not a good idea either (as it can and will be used to eliminate any internet presence of vape shops - based on the lack of infrastructure for age verification).

Un-possible. Nobody would ever click "Like" on anything posted by this surly, heartless, outright exploiter of the working class. :D

Eah... It's a sign of the times.

I blame it on Rock n' Roll and the use of Artificial Sweeteners like those found in Cake.

    ;)

I think you Causality is Faulty.

There is Plenty of Infrastructure for Age Verification for Online sales. One only has to look at the sale of Alcohol to see that.

What I see is many people trained to have an emotional response. What I see from my poll(which admittedly has less voters, but has nearly the exact opposite percentages) is that when people stop to consider the facts and the potential consequences of their opinion, they choose differently.

From the Numbers of your Poll, verses this one, looks like about the Same People Vote for the Second Option in yours as Voted No in this Poll.

well, if we're talking pure numbers, neither poll is anywhere near a large enough sample to be representative of any population other than the population of those who took the polls.

BTW - Do you feel the Wording of Both Polls are as Objective as Possible?

The wording of neither poll is objective. Unfortunately the structure of the polls only allows so much text. Ideally we would be allowed to present arguments for both sides, and then ask people to vote, but that's not how it works. Much like actual elections/proposition voting, people make choices based on as little information as they come in with, and usually without thought of anything further than the initial question.
