Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

those of us who are tobacco free and have no option except vaping to stay that way.

No, we were discussing your claim of having no other option.

How is it irrelevant?

ETA: Sorry. To be clear, I'm curious about your smoking history since you seem to know mine so well.

I've made no claim of your smoking history of knowledge there of.

I don't want to argue with you have a nice night.

I have no opinion on you. I do have an opinion when people claim there no other options to be tobacco free except to vape. Above your words were those of us who are tobacco free and have NO option except vaping to stay that way. I just don't believe that to be the case. Its an excuse to vape because you do have an option. Just dont do it.

I'm not arguing, I thought we were having a discussion.

And you have implied knowledge of my smoking history, since you have told me how I can stay off cigarettes.

If you didn't smoke your argument would have merit. As it is, you are merely passing judgement.

Maybe it is just me. 10 years as a master certified technician, your advice and opinions on 'fixin cars' is generally considered in relationship with your experience in the field. 10 years as an OTR driver w/over 11,000 documented drop and hooks, when you tell me that I am doing it wrong your background in the field will be questioned.
I smoked for close to 30 years. Last 5 were 3 PAD, and vaping has been the only thing that has kept me off cigarettes.
Anyone who has an opinion that I can stay off cigarettes without vaping is free to have it (we all know what opinions are like) but if you want me to respect your opinion be prepared to back it up with life experience.

To me, this whole conversation looks like:

Sub4Me: You could run a 4 minute mile without using a car if you had to.

Ocelot: No, I couldn't.

Sub4Me: If there were no cars, you could find a way. You could exercise, and train. Eventually, you'd be able to run a 4 minute mile. Kelly Blatz and Analeigh Tipton can run 4 minute miles, so you could to. You just don't want to.

Ocelot: Can YOU run a 4 minute mile?

Sub4Me: That's not relevant.

Ocelot: Why isn't that relevant?

Sub4Me: My ability to run a 4 minute mile isn't relevant to your being able to run a 4 minute mile.

Ocelot: But it does have a bearing on your opinion as to whether I could ever run a 4 minute mile or not.

Sub4Me: I have no opinion on you. I do have an opinion when people claim there are no options to travelling a mile in 4 minutes other than to drive. You claim that you can't run a 4 minute mile, but I don't believe that. It's just an excuse to use a car, because you could run a 4 minute mile if you really wanted to. Just do it.

Please keep in mind that Sub4Me posts usually are not logical to most of us. This user still smokes, lives in an area where vape shops are closing and believes that low nicotine e-liquid is not sold much compared to high nicotine e-liquid Pretty much everything that Sub4Me posts does not align with what I have seen and what I have read but it may be true in their part of the world.

Funny. Forums are typically full of similar exchanges. It is hard to have a meaningful exchange without contact. It is like text messaging.

As a rule, most points are valid, it is just that perspectives are different. If you assume that the players are all smart folks but are coming at the game with different values and experiences, it makes it easier. It is worse if the subject matter at hand is normative, as this thread is. There is no mathematical answer to "should something happen". The debate however is informative and will help me when I communicate with my elected officials (which I do regularly in my day job).

I feel very prepared. I like this sort of discussion because it gets to the heart of the politics around vaping (rights), which are intertwined with smoking (rights).

How the discussion shows up to me:

Ocelot: I used to love walking, but now I drive. Driving is so much better and keeps me away from walking.

Sub4Me: Me too, I enjoy driving, but also still walk.

Ocelot: That's fine for you, but do you realize that for some of us we have no option to stay away from walking except by driving.

Sub4Me: Sure you have options. You are just framing things in a way to suggest, mostly to yourself, as if your options are limited.

Ocelot: My options are limited. I can either drive or walk. Driving is better than walking. If they take driving away, I'll be forced to go back to walking.

Sub4Me: Not true. You could not travel. You could enjoy walking right now while you enjoy driving. You could try and enjoy pharma's bicycling or pharma's bus riding. You could stick to driving for as long as it is legally available. You could drive on the black market. So, not true that there are only 2 options.

Ocelot: How long have you been driving? I ask because if you walked as long as long as I have and on the exact same streets as me, you would see it as only 2 options. It's only logical to see it as 2 options.

Sub4Me: Uhhhhh, ummmmm, okay.

    Nope no joke.

Whoa, Whoa, Whoa! Let's Back the Snack Food Cart up for a second.

You have Never eaten a Cheeto? Not even Once?

Do you suffer from Chrysositophobia (Fear of Orange Colored Foods)? Were you raised in some sort of Cult that felt Snack Foods were the Work of the Devil? Did someone Close to you when you were young Die in some sort of Horrible Cheeto Realated Accident?

I see ALL Kinds of Crazy and Baffling Things here on the ECF. Everything from the Black Market being a Viable Solution for All Vapers in a Post FDA Regulated World. To 2nd Hand Vapor PPM levels along the lines of Perfume being Toxic. And all that is fine. Because Everyone is Entitled to their Opinion. Even if it is on the Extreme Edge of Reality.

But to Never have Eaten an Entire Bag of Cheetos (the Large Bag) and then Licked Partially Hydrogenated Soy Bean Oil and Orange Colored Disodium Phosphate off your Fingers, well, there has to be a Story there.

As zoiDman said, '' you are Reading it Correctly.''

I think that most vapers have enough sense not to vape in enclosed spaces, public or private. But then I know some people who will fart in elevators with people around. I am sure there are ignorant vapers too.... Once THEY decided it is healthy for others to partake in THEIR pleasure it becomes part of THEIR freedom to force others into it or to prove them wrong.... which is an impossible task .

Vaper does not signify stupidity. Most (a lot) vapers have been pooped on for years with cigarettes. You would think that any intelligence out there would be smart enough to understand that cigarettes are evil and cancer causing -and pat a person on the back for switching to vaping. I think most of the US has nothing to do but sit around and whine about things they know nothing about. Any vapers I know would never even think about vaping in an enclosed environment with or without kids.

I won't even mention the many many things out there that are far more dangerous to people than vaping and need no prescription. I don't see any laws against obesity, which is food related and very harmful. No law against cigarettes. Flavored alcohol . Does the public accuse the alcohol companies of their yummy flavors targeting kids?

You're right. Your children are not my mandatory responsibility. A parent is 100% responsible for their kid. Don't force your poor child raising skills on me. I'm tired of people who most likely point us out as bad and evil people. How many walk up to you and say congratulations on quitting smoking? Zip.

Why are you still smoking cigarettes?

    Iirealvant to the discussion.

Easy because what I do has no bearing on you staying tobacco free if you can't vape.

But it does have a bearing on whether or not your opinion about me has any merit.

The bold, underline of the last quote is mine.

Excellent posts Ocelot and I agree totally :thumb:. IMO, someone who still smokes has very little insight on the issues people face in getting cigarette free and staying that way.

Sub, there are a lot of resources here to help you quit smoking, but you have to want to quit and have an open mind to change in your life and in the way you think. I hope it all works out for you :)

Smoking is bad and evil and smokers are too. They have no rights. TV news told me so.
And, somehow it has become 'legal' to illegally tax non taxable items such as tobacco as a result of it being such a bad thing.

All applicable taxes on tobacco (and oil/gas/etc) are included in the price the retailer pays for the carton. To tax it again at the point of sale to the consumer is charging tax on tax and use to be against the law.

I refuse to be lectured on vaping by anyone that has taken a painkiller/anesthetic during their lives. Let's not forget that the agency that wants to :censored: vaping has nothing against painkillers / anestethics, some of them with serious side effects including addiction. Based on the same logic that quitting smoking "cold turkey" is the best and only true way of doing it, then painkillers are largely unnecessary too. Anyone feeling like lecturing me please first decline anesthetic at your dentist then we probably could talk.

I agree with all you have written. I meant to say that ignorant people are of every segment of society, vapers included. I used the farting analogy to add a bit of humor to this discussion.

Some vapers did not agree and think they have the right to vape wherever, whenever and however they wish. Some added that my kids are not their problem as a counter argument. Desperate people will use any argument to prove their point even if it does not make any sense. I never inferred that it was, to do so would be irresponsible to say the least.

Imo, ignorant vapers make it worst for all of us. Their behavior reflects badly on all vapers. I am a chain vaping individual. I NEVER vape in my car with others present. I NEVER vape in my house, except if alone in the room. I am the only vaper out of 5, I vape in the garage, ( which is also my mancave), but don't make it a religion. I NEVER vape in public areas if others are present. I do not force my dependencies and pleasures on others.

No intelligent and informed vaper can say that e-cig vapors are harmless. It does not take a big brain to understand that to breathe the ingredients in e-cig vapor is probably not the best for one's health. Without a question it is MUCH better than smoking ... but that fact does not warrant acting like bullies and ruffians and force others to breathe our vapors.
