Should I be concerned with this battery?

Just noticed it today. I tried rubbing it off and it's definitely not from something spilling on it.

Yeah I didn't attach a carto on it but the light is still working on it.

To me it just looks like oils from your fingers have transferred to it.

Need you to try a carto on that battery RandomHero sir. Fact the light is still lighting up means the battery is still working, so don't think it's anything of that nature. Honestly looks like magic marker has been drawn or rubbed into the coating. Know you said it's impossible anything got spilled on it, but that's the only way to explain the discoloring if the battery does indeed still work.

Yeah I've been using it. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't going to blow up haha. I just really have no idea how it could of gotten there. Thanks man.
