I had to write this simply bcuz I seriously wasted money trying to suit my quest for the Golden Vape . I had been satisfied vaping on a Riva with LR atties or my simple 3.7v Box Mod from Juice Blasters ($30) for quite awhile . After 6 months or so I decided I was tired of carrying around 2 Riva's & a box mod every time I go out for the day . I wanted to have one mod to use everyday , all day . Something I could vape in the car & able to work well with Tanks & etc . I wasn't trying to spend two /three hundred on a shinny battery case with a button but I was most definitely trying to get more for my buck.
Last month I decided to get an Indulgence Titanium V2 . I got the whole sha bang , long/short sleeve , double batteries , the works . Sad to say after 3 days the button started to stick and vapor production sucked . I then tried vaping at 6v with it , but the batteries rattled horribly in it & it was way too big to carry around in my pocket . In a nut shell , my box mod & my Riva out vaped this thing. Out of pure frustration I started doing some serious research into different mods , including checking the classifieds . After much care I decided I needed a big battery mod at least a 18650 but simple . It definitely had to be durable and if I have to spend a hundred bucks it had to damn well be worth it . So after 2 days online , I found the Omega from Altsmoke . I couldn't find one bad review on the thing . To be honest , I had looked at the Omega before but being the tight wad that I am , I went for the cheaper mod . At any rate , I ordered the Omega today & I plan on doing a video& written review on it as soon as it arrives . I'm doing the review mostly for my family & friends that vape , so they can get a feel for it before they buy it . They tend to buy what ever I buy or recommend bcuz I don't lie & I know what kind of smokers my peoples are . Most of the lite smokers I know have been content with their Joye 510's & Ego/Riva's , but myself & most of the heavy smokers I know are still on a quest for the Golden Vape ! I have my fingers crossed that the Omega paired with a LR Liquinator Tank filled with Stormy's Cotton Candy or Pro Vapes Pina Colada will end the quest for me . Well at least til Christmas anyways , if you have an Omega please share your vaping experience with me . Did I waste money again ?

My main PV is a silver bullet with LR boge cartos. I got the 5.5 phat liquinator this week and have vaped almost 3 full tanks of juice through it. This is my golden vape so far. ;)

Your choices here are perfect for me, but everyone has different tastes. However this setup will give you a ton of vapor between battery changes / charges with very little maintenance with juice filling etc. Hope it works well for you because it has hit a very nice sweet spot for me.

just got the omega a few days ago and i LOVE it. (for reference, i also have a provari, icon, reo grand/mini. i had before selling, a silver bullet and prodigy too). i got the chrome and it looks stunning. pictures make it out to be alot bigger than the actual size too. also the contour makes it sexier than the silver bullet imo

the one thing that will be subjective is the button....i personally love how to activate it (note: you do NOT have to press it all the way down to fire).. i dont like the standard buttons like on the provari and silver bullet..jus find it boring o_O if you dont like it, theres a 14 day warranty, you can jus trade for thr silver bullet which prob has the best button of that style out there.

these mods are all mechanical (nothing to fail inside) so you cant go wrong with it. the silver bullet has a slight resistance(?) to it, so the omega actually gets slightly more voltage which is a plus. also the omega has vent holes (safety for battery explosion) and the silver bullet doesn't...though they say the button will pop off the s.b. if anything.

and youll love the 18650 battery..i use the AW IMRs for my LR atomizers and they last a long time and stay at a high voltage. AND.l you have a choice of going to 6volts with stacked lifepo4 3v or any similar type batteries.

takes a beating, mechanical, big battery, 3.7v or 6v, and looks sexy on top of everything.

Omega is a good pv but I would go with the silver bullet.

Exactly this. There is a reason the SB is still produced.

everything is subjective of course, but u guys should give reasons why you prefer one over the other -.-

only reason imo i would go for the sb is the button preference.

I own the BB which is a smaller version of the Silver Bullet. I've had it since it first came out and have never had an issue with it. The Omega is designed and built by the same person that does the SB, BB and Alpha. I have tried the Omega and I'm sure you will be pleased with your purchase as for me I prefer my button on the side so I stick with the BB.
For those of your family/friends that would prefer as smaller device I would recommend the Volt from Smokeless Image. I use this quite a bit for those times when I don't feel like using a heavier ecig. It's small and vapes very well in my opinion.
Best of Luck with your new toy!

I just picked up the SB last week and i can not put this thing down. i live about an hour away from altsmoke so I took the trip up there and checked out all of their PVs. You cant go wrong with the omega or the silver bullet. Both are of the highest quality and Rob is a great guy to deal with. He took the time to stick around after they closed to help me pick out some juices and other stuff.

I live near Columbus and got off work late so I didnt get there until 6:45 on a friday night. All that being said, you will be thoroughly impressed. I am already thinking about taking another trip up there and picking up an omega myself. -----Can you say PV addict?

Your son also let me try out the Volt, and i was quite impressed by this little thing. It produces a very satisfying vape in a compact package. I think eventually I will pick one of these up for the times when I am out with friends.

+1 for nocturn4l3030. Great job on Omega review. I had a blast buying mods one after another in the beginning. Buy, try, sell, repeat. Lessons learned; type of atomizer or carto and the battery brand make a huge difference in vaping performance whatever mod you choose. Great choice on Omega. Congrats!

I personally love my Omega and it's a part of my daily rotation, the only cons are the top button which gets real crowded when you put a MAP tank on it, and the automatic adjustment for attys/cartos can cause accidental firing issues if you have an atty with a protruding stem (I just adjust the height of the switch stop). Other than that it's bulletproof. No electronics to fry, no issues with dual coils, and maintenance is a breeze once you figure out the dime trick.

Thanks So Much for the advice , again I've heard nothing BAD about this PV . Hopefully I can sell this Indulgence & at least get some of my money back . I guess the Indulgence is good for a newbie , I should have known better & went with my first gutt impression which was the Omega /Silver Bullet anyway. I'm living on a budget & just wanna get thru another 6 months buying nothing but juice/atties , I loved seeing extra money at the end of the month !

If you don't mind me asking what else is in your rotation ? Now I'm thinking I'm gonna need more than one good PV in the house , but I also use my 5v passthru when I'm online & I'm never gonna get rid of my Riva's ,

Dime Trick ? I'm gonna need to know that one . (smile) Wow forgot about how wide the Liquinator Tank is . Would it fire if I pushed it down by pressing it against my tooth or something like that ?

The Dime trick has to do with the spacing of the gap. Here's some links: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/altsmoke/103160-omega-how-video.html

Once you get your Omega if you have any questions you can post in Altsmoke's forum and I'm sure someone there would be able to answer you shortly. Or you can always give them a call :vapor:
