Just got my 510 L2 kit from StrictlyEjuice.com last Thursday.

Well long story short I was vaping some pretty mellow flavors and thought it would be a good idea to drip 2 drops of french pipe in to see how that was.

Needless to say it was way overpowering and the taste just got stuck in the atty. So tonight I decide I have to clean it to get it out. So I ran it under some warm water for about a minute and then blew it out. Now I'm seeing a couple fibers poking out from under the bridge.

I guess my question is, should I be worried about using this addy again? Or should I contact the supplier for a replacement?

I would recommend that you get some clear grain alcohol.. like a cheap vodka or bacardi to clean your atty with. Water will eventually build up limescale on your atty and ruin it.
Most of the time I simply just blow the atty out or clean with a q-tip without emersing it.. but for a flavor problem like you stated.. best to drip a couple of drops of vodka while covering the battery end with a finger( I use my pinky ) , then cover the other end with your thumb and hive it a few shakes. empty the vodka out, blow out through the battery end again and then just kind of wave it in the air as grain alcohol will evaporate through airflow. Then, walla.. your ready to go. Always make sure to drip one or two drops of your juice directly on the bridge after all this to make sure it is not starting up dry. Keeping your atty bridge wet will extend the life of your atty.

Anyway, my $0.02 worth, take it for what it is worth.

OOPS !!! -- Stop! -- Don't pull on any fibers - at least not
just yet Rage! -- Make darn sure of what you're actually seeing first!

With all due respect to KattDaddy !! --

Rage -
you very well may BE seeing the silica-fiber bundle (or some part of it) that the atomizer's tiny heating filament is wound around. -- IF that is actually what is visually protruding from underneath the bridge... then IF you were to go and even lightly pull on it --- you will likely pull it out!!!!

-- AND THAT LITTLE MOVE...WILL KILL the atty!!8-o

YEP -- that's whut I said. -- Been there_done that !!

Yes I will concur and retract. That could be part of the bundle. You could try and see if the distributor will replace under warranty as a manufactures fault... or if it is still working, you might decide that it is still usable and continue using it ... even as a spare wouldn't hurt. I do apologize, I took this as part of your fiber fill in the cart getting under your bridge.

Thanks guys, they do have a 6 month warranty, which is pretty crazy. I'll try and vape on it first, because they just recently (on Sat night) put spare parts up on the website to order, which I did but wont even receive them for at least a week and I only have two attys right now.

Once I get the new ones in then I'll proceed.

Right! And it IS ACTUALLY a very common thing to find that one (or more) fibers from a 'cartridge' has gotten stuck on the bridge down inside the atty. -- Happens all the time for most of us! vaper'ers.

And as Kattdaddy was advising... those fibers are not a problem to easily remove with tweezers. -- Just try to be sure of what you're attempting to remove from inside the atty first!

The L2 attys do have a small supplemental wick that runs from under the atty bridge down to the coil pot. It is much smaller than the Joye wick.. but it is there.

Do not remove it... do not even try to remove it! As far as fibers are concerned... don't try and go down there with a tweezers and get them out unless you know for sure that they are polyfill fibers from the cart. Yanking on a strand from the wick can do serious damage to the atty.

As far as cleaning is concerned..... warm tap water works exceptionally well... IF you then completely blow it out afterward. I personally use an air compressor. The problem with alcohols is that they can dissolve an adhesive that the manufacturer uses down inside of the atomizer. That dissolved adhesive can then clog up the nickel mesh and the "breather" holes in the atty.

If using Pure Grain, I would recommend allowing atty to sit for 24 hours. I personally do it similar to Scottbee, only difference is I warm a little distilled water in microwave and swish around in the warm water then sit out to dry. Recently I read where an individual used PGA and didn't wait long enough after cleaning and had a melt down with his cart....not good!

I bent a large paper clip into an L shape by pulling up the inside U shape
straight up 90 degrees from the outside U shape.

Hook the smaller around your vents on the exhaust fan form you computer's power supply.

Lay your atomizer on the larger part of the L with the cart side facing the computer.
Now you have warm air blowing directly into your atty and I give mine 4 hours drying time before using again. Don't forget to prime with a couple of drops of e-juice.
