I'd say save up for an external charger when you can, some of the two bay chargers can be found quite inexpensively, and if you can swing it, a second pair of batteries so that they can rest a little after charging would be a good idea. But, it doesn't have to happen this second. I wouldn't use your computer for charging if you can avoid it, as if anything goes wrong, it may affect your computer as well. Use a wall-wart, and honestly I would just let the batteries pull what they want from it, not necessarily use a less powerful charger (although you certainly can if you want).
I really love the convenience of removable batteries and use them as much as I can (apart from the few mods I have that can ONLY be charged via USB). I did buy a magnetic charger from Fasttech, to cut down on wear and tear on the USB port, still waiting for it to arrive but I'm really glad I got one. I have a couple mods where I *need* the USB port to continue working as I love the mods, it's just recommended to charge via USB and the mod is really designed so that this is a better option... Not to mention my 4 year old smart phone is getting a little wonky with its USB port.
Best of luck with whatever you decide, but if you can, an external charger is a lovely thing to have especially since it does do some things USB doesn't (avoid wear and tear on the USB port in case needed for updates) swap and go, etc. I've seen chargers on sale during sales for about $13. Can't say much about which model, I don't remember, but dedicated external charges can be obtained fairly inexpensively if you keep your eye out (or may be willing to order directly from China on a site like 3FVape or Fasttech. Hope it all goes well for you
