I started out with an automatic (I think, I don't know all the terminology here yet) from Red Dragon. Was disappointed with the catromizers and minimal selection of flavors and nic levels. I then got a Tornado (which I think is the same as a 510) from Totally Wicked with a manual button. I like the Tornado much better! I get my juice from Velvet Vapors and their selection of flavors is great. I have been vaping big time since I went off the analogs 9/21 and my battery lasts me all day and then some. The automatic with the cartomizer was not able to produce the amount of vapor or battery life of my Tornado. Lesson learned. I use the Red Dragon as my back up or if I am going to be vaping in public (more or less...people get freaked when they see vapor and think it's smoke) it looks just like an analog too, where the Tornado doesn't. I much prefer the manual button on the battery for the Tornado because I can start it right before I use it and get a great TH and tons of vapor.

Good luck in your search. Everyone has their personal favorites as well as vendors of both e-cigs and e-juice. You will be so happy you have made the decision to go with an e-cig!

Happy Vaping!

I'm not sure why people want insane vapor like I see on youtube vids. I think its overkill but then again I'm just starting out myself. My goal isn't to smoke a while cig in one puff and have lingering mist with a half used cart now. That's way exaggerated, but that's my thought process. I should buy a manual just to see the difference. But if auto helps to conserve where I can vape using less, that's what I want.

I am new to vaping and thank god I found this board. I am totally confused.

I ordered the 901 with and automatic battery. I like it but I am constantly charging batteries. I was thinking of ordering the EGO kit because of the battery life. I like a lot of vapor with a good TH and a long lasting battery. I smoked 1-1 1/2 packs a day and the 901 is not cutting it. I know I have to go to a stronger juice because the 18mg is not doing it. Now does the EGO come with an automatic battery or just manual. And which is better the automatic or manual batteries? And where is the best deal for the EGO? I know a lot of questions but I guess that is why I am in the newbie forum.

My first e cigs were automatic batteries but Ive found the manual batteries provide a more satisfying vaping experience for me. I purchased a manual 510 and that got me off cigareetes. Recently I purchased an eGo from Liberty Flights ( good vendor...be sure to use thier 20% discount ) for the better battery life.

The best deals for an eGo changes from week to week, but Liberty Flights has that 20% discount that makes them very very competitive.

EDIT: When shopping for an eGo be sure to read the product descriptions. What sometimes looks like a much better deal only gets you ONE COMPLETE eGo, while others that seem more expensive will get you TWO COMPLETE eGo's.
