I ordered myself a magma clone off ebay, and it comes with some pre made 24g coils, im not sure if i should use them. What is the ohm of the coil? What is the amp rating of your battery?
Measuring them with an ohm reader (to verify their resistance) and Ohm's Law will tell you if they are safe to use in your mod.

Personally, I just toss any coils or wire that comes with an atty. I prefer to trust wire that I have actual knowledge of, and (call me paranoid if you wish) I don't trust a coil that I didn't build and verify myself... 
I am a bit paranoid and I'll never use any coil that comes with a new atty, whether it comes from Switzerland or from an anonymous Chinese factory. The same goes for cleaning the hardware when I receive it. Doing that would just go against my efforts of seeking the best quality when I source my rebuilding materials. I guess you have my opinion 
No problem, dbrown... good luck with your new gear! I know that I've bought several attys that came with wire, but they don't tell you if it's kanthal, nichrome, or what... it's just a piece of wire of unknown origin and gauge... same thing if it's pre-coiled. I'd rather just wrap up a coil set and know what I'm working with. I don't know how much experience you have, but with practice, you can wrap, install, and wick a coil in under 5 minutes...
I've always tossed the coils, and made my own. idk. Once they arrive, install in rda, measure carefully, see if everything is ok, see if they're within the parameters of the battery you're using.
