... or am I doing something wrong?

I'm trying to vape this from a Vivi Nova with a 2.4 ohm head. I was expecting a smoky tobacco flavor but this tastes like what burning tires smell like.

Should I use a 2.8 ohm head? Try a CE4 instead? Send it back?

[Edit] This is a strange flavor. Half way between burned toast and burning rubber. Not at all what I was expecting and certainly nothing like any cigarette, cigar, or pipe tobacco that I have ever smoked.

Sounds to me like you're burning the wick. I had some pre filled RY4 carto's show up a while ago that tasted like that....except in their case it was burned caramel and burned rubber/plastic and it was because they were dried out. I would try another Vivi or another head at least. If you burned that wick, you're never going to get rid of that taste

I may have found some clues to this mystery.

Being kind of a noob, I ran to the mailbox where my package had sat all day in freezing temperatures, grabbed my loot, headed directly in and filled up the vivi nova without even shaking the bottle.

Since then I have been shaking the crap out of it and it has been at room temperature for about 24 hours. I'll give it another test later tonight and post my results.

[Update] The burned rubber taste is mostly gone. This stuff still has an unusual smoky kind of flavor that reminds me of roasted barley a bit perhaps. It is much more vapable now. Apparently it really needs to steep, especially after being in the cold. If this is the true flavor, I don't think I would order it again, but I will probably finish off the bottle. Thanks for the advice everybody!
