so i got this liquid from my friend who likes to diy. he's pretty new at it bu this blueberry liquid is pretty good. my friend at the vape shop said to be careful though because a color like that is sure to contain diacetyl. Anyone think this is safe to vape?

I wouldn't, but the color has nothing to do with the presence or absence of diacetyl. I might suspect sulfites though; they preserve color, and could send an asthmatic directly to full pulmonary collapse.

I want no artificial color in either my food or my ejuice; how something looks has nothing to do with its taste.

so for someone like me who isn't asthmatic would the sulfites, if any, hurt?

Not as far as I know. My son doesn't have true bronchial asthma, just occasional asthmatic bronchitis, and he eats Pringles like they're going out of style in 15 minutes, without any problems. (dehydrated potatoes always have sulfites)

I would be careful with any DIY liquid that I had no idea what was in it.
While I'm sure the brewmaster has the best of intentions, so many things can go wrong with DIY if you have no clue what you are doing.
I would probably avoid using just as I would avoid bathtub gin and the brown acid at Woodstock.

Speaking of, that's a sweet Les Paul you got there ;)

when bullcity says the liquid must be diluted first does that mean with distilled water or just referring to the actual mixing of the base and flavoring

The actual mixing, with nicotine and Pg/VG and maybe other flavors.

Normally, dark juice is a bad idea but this is blueberry. Blueberry flavoring from everyone is dark and I have Capella's, TFA, and Lorann's. Fact is, I'm vaping a blueberry muffin diy right now and it's a little darker than my usual blends. The one you're holding is however very dark so your coil won't last long with it.

Do you have Blueberry Wild by TFA? Crystal Clear and delicious. :)

I would be more fearful of dealing with your "friend" from the vape shop after listening to such an asinine statement.
