so my local gas station sells wintergreen stonewalls and wintergreen arivas. Well, I've been using it occasionally for the last few months, and I gotta say, they take a lot longer for me to dissolve than I've heard anybody say. I hear people say a stonewall takes 30-45 minutes to dissolve, but when I use it, I've had stonewalls take about 4.5 hours to dissolve, and ariva takes about 2 hours to dissolve. is this normal or is it because the stonewalls I'm getting are old/stale or something? another problem I have is, especially when I first put it under my lip, its REALLY uncomfortable, like a pebble in your shoe kind of uncomfortable. once again, is this normal, or is this just because it's stale? also I'd like to say wintergreen tastes like ... and I hope when I get my hands on java it will taste better.

I like the stonewall java but didn't care much for the wintergreen. I know they say to put them under your lip but I don't. I put it in my cheek and work it in my mouth so that it dissolves faster which equals faster satisfaction for me. I can get one to dissolve in less than thirty minutes. I wouldn't use them if it took me four hours for one to dissolve.

so don't put it under my lip like snus and just put it where you would a jawbreaker or some other sphere-shaped hard candy? thanks that helps a lot. I don't think I could do it with wintergreen though, I gotta wait till I can get my hands on some java first, and I need to wait about a month to turn 21 so I don't have to deal with finding somebody to sign for it for me before that happens. but yeah thats a good tip I thought it wouldn't soak in properly unless it was under your lip

I think I remember Tropical Bob or someone saying that it absorbs even quicker thru the tongue. However doing it like I do might make the nic hit a little to quick for some. When it gets down to being almost gone then I go ahead and chew the last little piece up. Right or wrong, it works for me. I do agree about putting them in your lip feeling uncomfortable. That's part of the reason I didn't use them very much when I first got them. I noticed that getsnus is carrying them now too but their price seems kind of high. I still like lilbrown.com.

I place them under the lower lip. If you go to the star scientific web site that's how they recommend using them.

How long it last for me depends on how much I mess with it. If I move it around and play with it a bit it will dissolve much faster, but if I leave it alone it can last a long time. I've never had one last for 4 hours, but I can get a few hours out of the Stonewalls.

Roth, last time I bought them I believe they were shipped ups (I think) but I know for sure I did not have to sign for them.

Axl, I know the regular Stonewalls required UPS but since the FDA has announced that the BDLs are not a tobacco product they wouldn't be covered by PACT. As I was writing that I realized they also wouldn't be covered by age restrictions either.
