Some stuff seems ready to go right off the bat, but even a pretty simple mix of caramel and cappuccino can have noticeable changes when given a week after initial mixing. (I shake the heck out of my mixes, but for whatever reason simply giving them some time seems to result in a bit of change, normally for the better.)

Does steeping mean filling and leaving aside then? Dos this just allow the flavours added to penetrate or mix better throughout? And 1 more hehe, do pre mixed things you buy need to steep?

I read and seems the deeper I get in these forums, the more questions pop up. I am probably not as picky as long as it gives me the nic fix and doesn't taste as bad as these things I smoke now to fill that void.

Liquids that are made ahead of time do not require steeping as much as liquids that are made as you order. That is the downside to freshness. Since I mix and order ahead of time, this is not a problem with me.
