Is there a list of recommended steep times? New to vaping and new to NT. Got my first 2 bottles today (little 15ml Hummingbird and Gravity that are both a day old.). I immediately dropped the Hummingbird into my nice clean nautilus Mini, popped it on my just opened rDNA and now after an evening of it, I read I have to put it away?!?!?! I might cry. No, I am crying.

Well, at least I still have a bit left in the tank..................

The fruit flavors are generally pretty good to go. If you like the flavor you are getting, hit it! If you are not sure about it, let it steep for a week and try it again. NT has lots of flavors that morph as they age, but they are all pretty good to go when you get them as Clark pre steeps before releasing his flavors. But there are people that prefer to let certain flavors age before the hit them. Enjoy, you just found the best juice company on the planet.

With regard to the fruit - generally, no need to steep. Getting on a regular steep cycle with the bakery/tobacco vapes is never a bad idea because they continue to improve with time and patience, but even those are ready to vape FOOB!

Welcome to the NuT house and the family Chefmilo!~

Quick question… Recently placed my first order of NT juice. I just got a reo and want to find a juice to match it's amazingness. I'm starting out with Homeslice, and it's really good, just a bit light. Not that I'm not hooked already, because I think I am, but I'm wondering if it still could benefit from steeping? The website said it was mixed on 6-3-14 so my thought process is that it's been steeping for 3 months now? It's "born on date" is the date that my order was packed and shipped (last week) so I assumed that date was just the date it was bottled for me. The place I usually order from makes juice to order so it's "born on date" is the date it was mixed. I'm just wondering if the date on the website is the date I go by or if it's the date on the bottle. I'm more just asking for my own knowledge, as my rule of thumb is, "it it tastes good, vape it." But if leaving this one sit a bit would make it that much better… maybe I'll get a second bottle to let "steep out" ; )

Have you tried other liquids in the reo to compare? Also, what kind of set up do you have on the atomizer? Coil position and resistance will affect taste and throat hit.

There's a thread (NT Approved Delivery Device) in the stickies here and you could also check out the reosmods forum if you haven't already done so.

Actually no, this is the first liquid I've used in my reo so far.… but I did try the NT in my old setup to see if was any different and it was actually a "better" in the reo so atleast I know that I'm doing something right lol. but I say "better" because it's still good. I do like it. Was just thinking if the flavor was a bit stronger it would definitely be worth waiting it out a bit. But thanks for the reply and also for point in out that link. I'm gonna check that out for sure because I'm also thinking that some liquids require different resistances and such, right? so it can't hurt to play around w/that too.

I don't have Homeslice in any of my reo's, so I really can't give you any tips on what builds to try. Mine run from .8 to 1 ohm with Naki' mix, Radioactive, and the Virus.

The "Hit it or Quit it" thread for this juice may give you some ideas on what to try. Keep in mind that what "works" for others may not hit for you - it ultimately takes some tinkering to find your sweet spot.

Homeslice by itself isn't all that special, but if you mix in a little grap3 ap3m it is amazing.
I love the 'Slice all by itself - but I'm more after the peanut butter taste than a true PB&J. I've also mixed it with Virus (my ADV) and it's pretty tasty that way too!

As far as a build goes, I'm using Home Slice in the REO with an RM2 built at 1.3 ohms (micro coil and cotton wick), getting plenty of flavor and vapor from it.

I LOVE the PB side of it, but was a little disappointed with the grape side, so I bought some ape, but I have too many untested NT juices, I haven't made it back to it yet... Seriously looking forward to it, think its going to be AMAZING.....

Now, what flavor to add to this frenilla?

Well first let me say that I just ordered some grape ape on Friday so thanks for those suggestions everyone!!

Second, wow, how cool that you actually look out for a first time customer when you obviously have such a "religious" following already! That's some genuine dedication right there! : )

So about my build… I'm completely new to the rebuilding thing so any tips are welcome. What I have right now is a microcoil, that is reading 3.0ohms. I had it at 2.8 but I changed the wick the other day and now it's reading 3.0. I have the reo vv and I have the voltage turned 95% up.
Also thinking maybe I just needed to get a taste for NT juices because I was using high pg juice extra flavor before I tried out your stuff. Even though the flavor of HS isn't smacking me in the face, It's still so good I cannot put it down! If you think I need to tweak my settings or build I'm all ears, but if not, I'm still one happy customer! I can't wait to try some of the other flavors! Between Nicoticket and my Reo, I think I'm set for life. :)
And last, but not least, GO EAGLES!!!!! :D:D:D

3.0 ohms? Try getting closer to the 1.0 ohms area.Your juice should come alive.

KewelGirl19 for the VV Grand the sweet spot for a coil is 2Ω. Give it a try I believe your NT juice will pop with flavor.

Ok, got it! I'll work on that tonight! I honestly haven't grasped the ohms/voltage/wattage concept fully but I'm trying. Also didn't realize the the ohms of my coil would effect the flavor so I just learned something new :)

We'll let that Eagles comment stay, for now. (I love Shady McCoy)

The crew already jumped on it, but I believe you will get better results with a lower resistance coil. If you like a cooler vape, I would take it down at least to 2ohms. Personally, on VV devices, I build the coil to about .2 ohms above the lowest resistance it will fire. (heats up faster) If I had to pick a resistance out of the air, 1.2 or so? You can get lower resistance by taking a few wraps off, or, by using thicker wire (28gu instead of 30gu, for example)
