No, didn't need to ... the updated gold springs that came with it are perfect. I vaped my AGI everyday, all day for two weeks straight on the same mesh build at 1.5ohms, and I mean chain vaped it, without a single issue. I recently broke it down into dripper mode, and the gold spring, is as gold, and perfectly shiney as it was the first day I put it together.

The AGI is one the of best purchases I have made, its just an awesome, well working device .. but I am curious to hear how your copper tubes work out because this would have to also increase conductivity, no?

I got idea from rogergendron1.
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...going-order-patriot-wound-up-agi-instead.html

My new revision (has shorter gold spring) AGI vaped fine too but it registered a higher voltage drop than other toppers.
I just stuffed spring w/ wire which brought voltage drop to normal but rogergendron1 hot pin replace is so slick I gotta do it.

Thanks for spreading the word !!! It realy is the easyest and most solid and permanit fix for the agi there is !!!!

Right now I am running the magneto with a solid body (teloscoping tube delete) and a modded agi (solid brass center post)

Packs a huge punch with a 1ohm cotton micro ! Hardly any voltage drop !!!

Being that the AGI was just a topic for discussion, I figured I should at least post a pic of it in Genesis Mode. :) It is also featured in my vapeporn music video  ... when I get bored I make stuff :D

A center positioned coil can produce smooth vapor?

That's some nice looking China; the clones have come a long way.

Can not imagine analog ever being allowed inside such a clean fine home.

Aww man, I like this ... I loved the Launcher the minute FT released it, but I didn't get it because I could not ascertain what the diameter of the inner flat section of the top cap was. I had only seen pics with a Protank, and I wanted to pair it with a 22mm rba .. damn, your Kraken looks good with it.

Thanks! The very top of the top cap (where it flattens out) is 20mm. My FT Igo W sits flush with that edge. IMO it still doesn't look bad with the edge of the Kraken hanging out over it, but doesn't look "right" with my Patriot (although the finishes are a dead match).

I've received lots of compliments on the Launcher, including my best friend who owns the real thing and was hard pressed to find even minute differences between the two.

True that! I didn't smoke inside my house while I was still on the ciggies ... but now I am a vaping fool! (smells nice in here)

And yes sir, this Taifun set up is such a smooth vape .. can't wait to put my RY4 in it, vaping on strawberry right now, and I can't put this thing down. :D

Speaking of China, I just shot some videos inside my China cabinet (true story), and I didn't even consider the irony of it at the time.

I believe you can get very good quality, classy looking set ups from China if you know how to shop, and put things together. Being that I buy a lot, I want to get my gear cheap, but it CANNOT look, feel, or function cheaply! But you know dis ;-)

No it doesn't because I couldn't even tell from the picture that the Kraken had some over hang ... nice! I love the "weighter" mechs, that is what really attracted me to it at first, and you can't beat the price. I have read across the board good reviews for it, so China did it again with quality at a bargain ... the other thing that had me second guessing was that its kinda ... phallic looking

You got me:glare: I thought it was in Genny family. I imagine Taifun produces fine vapor similar to KFL and Aqua.

 ... That is what I hear, but cannot attest to because I don't have a Kayfun, or an Aqua .... yet. ;-) But I bet you would like it if you tried it. (spoken in a sing a long voice) :D

See avatar. All Innokin and Kanger stuff pretty much with a couple of generic variable volt egos thrown in. All except the IBTanked cartotanks anyway. For carto tanks, I'm sticking with them pretty much. For the price, quality and extra orings thrown in, you can't go wrong. What's inside them however are all smoks and Boges.

My China topper contenders have been in a showdown this week:

Did you make the blue one yourself?? .. if my AGI ever breaks, I know whose house I will be breaking in to! ... So I take it your are loving the IGO-F ... I heard from one source that there were "no bueno". I almost bought one a couple of months ago, but after watching PB's review for it I changed me mind ... Are you the IGO-F whisperer?? ;-)

AGT Titanium - Phiniac Rugged Pyrex Glass Tanks

Yes, I love IGO-F and I don't give my love to vape gear easy. For example I don't love any other piece of vape gear. I may fall in love w/ AGI but still in honeymoon stage so I reserve judgement till later. I would love Chemy if it wasn't for that switch slop. IGO-F is my topper champion. Sometimes reviewers don't build toppers correctly before reviewing; I've seen this trend more than once. Nothing I have can beat IGO-F. It's a breeze to setup. Great dripper w/ a 1ml backup tank in case you get behind on the dripping. I really want some more but I'm holding back. Blindfold drip compatible. Sturdy wobble free design. Good pocket carry. Cost $10 but I would pay over $20. Works great out of the box. I did polish the tank contacts for small voltage drop improvement. Did I mention IGO-F produces outstanding vapor quality.

YMMV.

You too, hard to get??? ... Yeah, my vape love doesn't come easy, like my relationship with the Fogger V3. I am so attracted to it, sexy as hail to me, but it lacks a little on the inside. Now its not a total dud, and it's definitely better than my Fogger V2, but when compared to other devices (that's the thing about relationships, they are relative), the Fogger ain't giving it to me quite the way I like it ... and there is only so far that good looks go.

So right now I find myself in a Love triangle between the AGI, the Kraken, and the Taifun GT ... If I plan my time, and builds wisely, I think I can successfully juggle all three without neglecting any of them. :D ... although I am very open to a RBA that can square this up for me.

Oh wait ... am I going off topic? ... Yes, reviewers who don't know what they are doing, or talking about! IGO-F, I will reconsider. ;-)
