Thanks! Looking at super t. I think they were out of some of the sizes I needed, last time I checked. And yeah, those shortys will be perfect I think, since they'll just raise it enough to allow it to screw in, but not so much that there's a gap at all.
and apuc... i think that photo is with a 510-ego adapter. Would look even more flush, or even slightly recessed, with the shortys, since they're only 5mm high, or the Gotvapes ones are 6.5mm high. I think they're called ''510 Mini Extenders' at gotvapes, not sure what the other link called em. Also, GV has this really intriguing new tank system. It has swappable attys w wicks for different resistances. Curious as to what you guys who know a lot about those types of things have heard about these, if anything? They're a little too pricey for me to 'wing and a prayer' on em. Some people are receiving them next week, so if you've not heard I'll just wait for reviews. I have zero tolerance for the nonsense with flavor muting, so if they do that, they're not an option for me. lol They're called.. the Vivi Nova. Even have colored tank covers.
Otherwise, I'll just snaggle another smoktech or apollo stainless tank, and wait till I can afford my phiniac blown glass. lol

I have one of the Vision Vivi Nova on the way. The few that have tried them say they are working real good.

Ok, Im amazed and agog, but I am having a hell of a time finding batteries! Looked at super t, electronicstix, orbtronic, amazon, and esmokeytreats, as well as about 10 big vape shops (didn't try litecigusa, though, I'll peek there) and can't find a single place with all the sizes I need, let alone a decent meter. Anyone have any other bright ideas? Otherwise, I'm just gonna have to get one or two I'm most desperate for, and buy the rest from china.

My little 510 to ego adapter won't fire on mine. Can't see why but it won't. Gonna use the ohm meter later and see what's not making connection. I think I wll also get one of those 5mm shorties too.
I also have a ViVi Tank on the way. Was excited to try my Vision ego's on the SS but after finding they would not fit I'm glad I have the ViVi coming.

Pretty snazzy with an ego cone and carto too.
Also, when using carto tanks I found, like others, the draw way too airy. I screwed on one of these and it tightened up the draw similar to my other tubes.

Oh wow, hbclub, your lavas look marvelous! LOVE your lava tanks, and really really digging that tank in the middle. What the heck is that bad boy in the middle? That's not a liquinator, is it? Really dig how sturdy and bold the SS caps look.
And yeah, I'm pretty confident the shorties will work. I'm not sure if I'm gonna get the 5mm one that was linked here, or the 6.5mm one I found at Gotvapes. I just can't tell if it needs that extra height, or not. lol

Thanks orachel. The one in the middle is a Lilmomma stainless from bigdaddyvapor and the tip is a stainless siam fro cloudsofvapor. I really like the combo as they match perfectly together. The lilmomma is "perfect" size for standard 35mm carts and the tip blends right in to make the tank look like one piece.

You know yours is the second time I've loved those tanks, ask what they are, and get the 'lil momma' answer. Guess I'd better go ahead and stick that on the wish list. lol As for the stainless tip, does look perfect. I have a colored DCT with stainless caps, and I use a stainless gyroidal drip tip from DV (looks awesome, and sorta has an empire looking drip guard built right in... kind of like a mini to the tip you have there, without a bit of the flare. lol) because it looks so matchy. Hoping it looks even cooler once I get my tank from Apollo. Gonna try the ego short cone thread cover now and see if that adjusts the draw. Thanks so much for the info!

No Problem, when Super T doesn't have what I am looking for, I turn to wonderlite. Although someone needs to find a quality IMR 26500 since AW discontinued them.

While it looked fine and clean, I didn't like that the ego thread cover/cone I was using stuck out just a smidge above the vtube top. So, I cut down a regular ego cone so when it's screwed in, it's just below level with the vtube top. In this pic you can see a regular ego cone, the one that I cut, the ego thread cover I was using previously, and ... the cutown ego cone in the top.

Im following your progress hbclub. Im still at a complete loss on what is up with my wind tunnel airflow. I don't have tools (other than standard screwdrivers and hammers) either, so Im really curious on what you come up with.
