it is short and compact and seamless to the Caravela...much different than a standard carto "look"... i dont know any carto tanks that are that seamless as they are mostly 510 connectors instead of what this is which seems to be a screw into the battery tube itself making it pretty much a one piece hybrid

now given that i was obviously not just talking about looks (as there are i believe a few videos showing how it works), when i said "looks" i was probably referring not only to the visual looks in still form...but also how it looks performing in moving form... this new image only being an opportunity to use it as a means of showing my excitement for not just the looks in a new picture but also the "way it works" (as you said) in general

Oh no, my picture doesn't do it a lick of justice. When you see this in person, you'll know this is no "carto tank". The deep laser engraved Caravela emblem in the glass, the laser etched compass on the top of the tank, and laser etched drip tip... I could go on and on. One of my favorite features is that you can choose to either vape the juice from the tank, or just drip a different flavor straight down the center tube when you feel like, and have the time, to do it. The tank is basically " surplus juice stock" for when you are on the go, otherwise, it is a pure, true, drip atty. And that Cisco Spec Aero 306 bridgeless? I used HH357 custom long barrels until now. The 306 in the 'Vela, is a steam machine! And I'm only running the kick at 5.5 watts!

Just wait until DSpin, RWeschler or Phillip get theirs. They can work a camera, and you're going to see what that beauty REALLY looks like.

Moueix - is the bottom piece/top cap part sealed? Do you think the atty may leak into the battery housing?

I am wondering if I should get a sealed 306 ....

Blu, as you know, the mod comes with a top cap. The atty screws into the top cap and makes what I believe is a good seal. The top of the top cap is the only thing that can get juice on it, and it will run out the airways cut on the side if you have a mishap (see my note on filling it laying down, and don't do that) But just like a regular top cap, the screw in pin seals the top cap so no juice can even possibly get into the actual battery compartment. No worries. If you have an accident of any kind, you can just blow the juice out of the top of the top cap (the gap between the tank bottom and the top cap top) through an airway, and it will come out the other side.

The atty tank comes with the bottom plate, and you take off your Caravela's top cap ... yes?
That's what I meant, the bottom plate/cap that comes with the atty tank .... is it sealed? The piece the atty screws into?

I guess I will see when mine comes. :)

I see, yes, the bottom is completely sealed. The way it works is rather cool. You screw the atty via 510 connection into the new top cap. Then you push the atty (with top cap attached) up into the center tube of the tank, and there is a little screw that goes from under the top cap, into the bottom of the tank to fix it in place. The center tube holds the atty pretty tight, so it can't get out the sides of the atty. The only way to leak is if you flood it, and it comes out the small air holes above the 510 threads. It would then just be trapped between the tank and the top cap, and leak out the 4 slotted airways. Pretty hard to do really. If you flood it, you'll more likely suck juice into your mouth before you leak out the bottom, because of the mesh in the drip tip. That's a little bit easier to do, especially if you vape horizontal or near so.

I am more worried about juice sitting overnight ... on my Reo, I always think I have dried out the atty enough, then find my catch cup with juice in it the next am. (I don't like juice sitting in the catch cup :( )

I guess that's one of the things I will zhoosh out once I get mine.

Got mine today!! So did Kami, so I am going to test run this baby.
It looks gorgeous so far. :D
