I'm thinking about picking up a 78mm manual volt kit. I have never used a volt and the only cig-a-like I've ever used is a Blu back when I first started vaping. I do understand the limitations of a cig-a-like. I own several ego's a couple of 1300mah spinners and a VAMO already, but I though adding a decent cig-a-like to my arsenal may be fun. What do you guys and gals think of the volt? Is there something better?

Volt was my first ecig after blu disposables. They work great though I hate the pcc. It's a bit too heavy to feel like a real cig, an eroll is the best rechargeable cig replica. Pcc is good, tank system works good, extremely light and small. I've actually found myself trying to ash it(after a few drinks haha).

It's my opinion that Smokeless Image's Volts are the best cigalike available. They are what originally got me off cigarettes and into vaping. But it didn't take long for me to want something better, so less than a month with the 78's and an X2 I had ordered a Silver Bullet.

As long as you understand the limitations of the Volts, go for it.

EDIT: I just wanted to add, since it's been several months since I've last used my collection of Volt 78's and X2's, they have made their rounds by being loaned out to family, friends, and co-workers that were interested in giving an e-cigarette a trial. I no longer know who have the 78's, but my ex-wife has my X2's and clearomizers. I don't mind who has them as long as they are in use and helping to keep somebody off of the smokes.

I started with auto 65mm volts and they work great. I went straight from cigarettes to the Volts, used them just as much as I smoked, and was getting on average of 8 hours out of the batt. Keep in mind, I say I used them just like I smoked, wasn't chain vaping for 8 hours. Just that used just like a cig the batt would last that long. SI's cartos are great too. Horizontal bottom coil. Seems that many of the 510 cartos I've seen out there are vertical, and have the coil packed right up in the filler, making it easier for them to burn... Mr Outlaw did a great vid on SI's cartos Smokeless Image Cartomizers, Why are they better - YouTube
If you check out Outlaw Vaper's YouTube channel, he has a ton of awesome vids on SI products...

Yeah, I realize they are not 510's, but I won't be using them every day. I was going to order some blank cartos and maybe a couple of the nano's.
If you decide to try some nano's, ya might want to check out this thread http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/smokeless-image/333360-nano.html Sometimes they can be a little iffy... I went through about 4 of them before I started having success. Keep in mind, the nano's have "filler" in them so you really can't change flavors in them. I loved the CE3's, except for the whole syringe fill thing...

I agree with Baditude and Grimwald.

I absolutely love my Volt. Some people use cigalikes first, then move on to egos and mods. I started with egos, got a couple mods, but decided I still wanted something that looked and felt like a real cig. So I got a Volt. Haven't been let down since. I should've gotten two batteries, plus the pcc, but I jumped the gun and got the 19.99 starter pack (1 battery, two cartos, and a charger). When I get my tax returns, I'm getting at least two more batteries, a crap ton of blank cartos, and a pcc.

I'll say what many have already said, you can't go wrong with a Volt. I quit on Jan 1 this year. Ran out on New Years day and got a Encore single batt setup from a smoke shop that was open. On Jan 2 I ordered a Volt system from Smokeless Image. It just works great. About a week later I got their whole line. Even the Nano's work great and for a great price. None of their delivery systems have leaked so far. I like the bigger X2 and T3's for home, car, etc. but for work I just keep a Volt in my top pocket and take a puff every once in awhile. Have to be stealth there.

Did I mention the fantastic customer service at SI?

I love them.

I got two batteries and some of cartos, and found the vapour production better than any other cig-a-like ive tried, and alot better than corner store types. The regulated voltage is a huge plus because getting less of a drag when the battery runs out lets most other models down. The auto aspect is less over sensitive in sealed models as well, meaning it doesn't trigger off while in your pocket etc.

I ended up getting another battery and a mega PCC (not that I really need it). I dont chain vape and a full battery lasts me 1-2 days (and thats the two 220's, not the 320, which I also have one of). And I won a prize from smokeless image, and am getting a small kit for my mum.

I recently discovered that the innokin tidy10 nano sized clearo works fanstastically on this stick model, producing a really thick cloud.

Initially everyone warned me and advised me to get a bigger battery, low resistance, variable voltage etc. I am so glad I completely ignored all of that. Battery life suits me 100%, it lasts longer for the mah than one would expect, and if you dont chain vape, it gives a decent life. I only vape as much as I smoked.

With the innokin tidy10, it gives a pretty warm vape, and IMO, personally i wouldnt want much more than that. At 24mg nic, my throat would struggle if it were much warmer I think. In fact I am inclined atm to alternate between the innokin and the standard volt cartos (which are also good cartos), just because I am getting plenty of throat hit, and don't want to overdo it.

Anyway thats me, a very happy volt user.

Sitting down, facing forward.
I have a Vamo, and iTaste VV V2, Volt X2-650s and Volt 78mm. The Volt batteries are all autos. While the Vamo is "King" and the iTaste is great, I still use the X2-650s regularly and almost always have a 78mm with a CE3 on it. You can't beat the reliability and durability. The convenience of being able to go "hands free" just can't be beat. Volt 78mm got me off of tobacco and will keep me off of it as well. Just remember that they're 808 like everyone is saying.

Volt is literally the BEST e-cig-a-like I've tried. I can't say I've purchased a lot of different brands online, but I've tried nearly everything a gas station or tobacco shop keeps in stock including the Blu, and Volt makes the Blu look like a dollar store imitation.

I definitely recommend it, if not for their product alone but their customer service as well.

mrwilliams2--In case you didn't notice, you've been moved to the Smokeless Image forum.
Welcome!!
SI equipment and customer service can't be beat. The 90 day warranty on batteries is not quibbled over. With the exception of the T3, everything they sell works with everything else; the T3's won't work on the 78 or 65mm (cigalike) batts; but the cartos, clearos, nanos and CE3's will. The folks on the forum help with questions, and are excellent to pass the time with. Everyone is welcome.
