See if you can find an RN4072 or an 801. Not that they'll wow you with their performance but it may make you appreciate your eGos a little more. :)

So the main problem is "leaking"?
It's likely not leaking, it's more likely that you're drawing too hard and flooding it (will also cause a lack of flavor and vapor). To test this put a half full tank on it and let it sit. Check it after a day and if there is nothing in the cone or battery connection it's a flooding problem not a leaking problem.

What happens is you puff too hard, probably trying to get more flavor. That floods the atty and gives you less flavor. The excess leaks down into the battery connection. The sucking pulls the juice up from the atty and into the cone.

There's a fine line between pulling too hard and flooding and not pulling hard enough and getting dry burns. That line also changes with the size of the bubble and the consistency of the liquid.

Thank you everyone for your posts. I have gone from wanting to smoke 40 cigs due to the stress of the Type B, to seeing light at the end of tunnel ;)
I think I will invest in both options but will start with the vision first. Does anyone know a good place to buy them cheap?
I see that Liberty Flights do them for £5.29 +£1.49 for shipping and safercig co.uk do them for £5.20 (I don't know how much the postage is as it didn't let me get that far without registering).
Also, does anyone know any promo codes for this item at a site?
Thanks again guys :)

Hey again, have a look at Vapeescape also, if you spend over a certain amount with them or liberty flights I think you get free shipping. Oh and also try discount codes ecr69 or ukv or ukvapers to get a 10% discount :)

Hi all.

I have settled on an ego battery.
I tried cartomizers to start and there were a lot of plus points some of which being,,, good flavour, small, no leaking etc.
Bad points were that i needed a tool to get the end cap off. Can only be used a handful of time (or so I found), didn't store much juice.

Wait... What? Why would you need tools to use carto's? Here's what I do: order 5 carto's (510 dual coil XL's from SmokTech for instance), pop off end-cap, fill, put on drip-tip: ready to go. When taste is almost gone: refill. I can use a single carto for a week usually. Some deteriorate quicker, some last longer. But: don't use the end-cap, get a drip-tip. That way you just pull your mouth piece, fill, put mouth piece back on, vape!

Carto's I use hold either 1.8ml liquid or 3-3.5ML (eGo style carto's). Never bothered with the atty-tank systems like ego-t\c.

I've got 2 smoketech carto tanks, a 3.5 ml and a 5 ml... I use 50/50 blend liquid in both without a single hitch. (the smaller one is pretty slim - got it at cloudsofvapor for $11)

As far as cartos, I have used both Smok and Boge, they are both good. For Low Res, the Smok comes in a 1.7ohm whereas the Boge is more commonly found in a 2.0 ohm. The 1.7 Smok is great, and they come in XL sizes that hold a lot (but aren't wide, so should be find with your cone). crystalclearvaping has the LR Smok cartos, they call them the Ressurector. Good prices.

I had the same problem with my eGo T. I found the silicon end caps for the tank improved the setup considerably. They are very inexpensive as well. I converted to the eGo C with A tank about a week ago and have not had a leakage problem since. I'll be getting a B tank adapter shortly and plan on using the silicon end caps on that tank.

Been doing that. But it still doesn't seem to be as good as topping off. However the more times you top off, the sooner you start losing flavor.

I think what's happening is that it's wicking the thinner components out of the juice more rapidly and leaving the thicker components behind. Over time and repeated top offs you end up with 1/2 a tank of thick liquid that will barely wick.

I wonder if shaking it will help at all. Next time I clean them and start out with a fresh tank full, I'm going to try shaking them up some every so often to better blend the juice. Hopefully this will reduce the level of what I seem to be experiencing.

Don't get me wrong, the above is not a deal breaker. They're still very convenient with a good flavor and vape. Just trying to get the most out of them.

I to got an ego c, and hated the setup with the tank and that atty that always gave me a dry hit. I got a small DCT tank 3ml, and totally love it. I have also tried the ego mega cartos, and love them to. I personally don't like attys, because I really like the carto taste and warm vapor. That is not to say that an atty is not capable of that, it is just too much work to drip all day. Get yourself a tank and try is out. I know that there are a few vendors that sell the 3 ml tanks for like $7 + shipping, but why you are at it pick up a mega carto. They have them in some really big sizes. MadVapes has got them. I found them to work great. I know that you might think that a different device might give you a better experience, and that may be true, but you should try your options with what you have first. At least that is what I did! Hope this helped. I know if I based vaping on my ego c experience then I would probably go back to smoking. Take care!!

Can we change the part that comes to mouth on this?

I feel your pain and really enjoy the Ego-t other than the leakage. You might be able to stick with the unit and change out your tank. The plastic end caps are intended to seal on the atty to create suction. Unfortunately, the plastic tank end caps wear out quickly and are affected by the heat. The new tanks with silicone end caps are intended to solve the problem. I just ordered some myself.
