Tucson, it's a dry heat
Are you drinking a ton of water? Is your VV/VW too high? Nic too high? Are you chain vaping?

Side effects I've had: weight loss (at first), weight gain (not sure why at 8 months!), vaping zits, dry mouth, dry cough, and dry lips (ok, I'm drinking a TON of water - I attribute all this DRY to the winter). I won't quit though - I love vaping too much and it beats smoking.

If it happened 8 months later, why do you attribute it to the vaping (just curious)?

Because my appetite went up. When I first quit, I lost my appetite and lost fifteen pounds, then in the last 2 months it has come back. It could be other things, but whatever it was about vaping that made my appetite go away, went away :(

Very well could be just side affect of your body getting used to the change. Wait til you get the zits. Little painful .......s, I got dozens under my hair line on the back of my head. I would keep an eye on it and report it to my doctor if there is no improvement. If the menthol is doing right by you then get some menthol. Easy fix.

The taste issue sounds like your taste buds resetting (vapor's tongue), or the power/heat settings too high for the liquids you're using, so that the liquids tastes burnt. You also may want to check your nicotine levels. Symptoms of too much nic include headaches and nausea. Quitting smoking also has its own side effects.

Do they go away? This is getting old. I thought there was something in my soap that was making me break out!

" The Quit Zits - Your body is getting rid of toxins from smoking and sometimes people will get acne, blemishes or a rash when they first quit smoking. These will last about a month and then your skin will look better than before."

I've been off tobacco for 14 months. The breakouts only started recently. I've vaped 70/30 pg/vg almost this whole time, and can't think of anything else that may have changed.

Maybe it's just how my skin is reacting to the wonky weather were having this winter.

I've noticed i'm breaking out on my lower back a good bit. I have been vaping the exact same juice since day 1 (8 months now). I just noticed this about 3 days ago and was wondering why. Looks like others are having the same issues. I haven't had any other symptoms like itching or anything would indicate skin issues besides the break out. HMMMMMM. Curiosity has now taken over and I'm fixated.

Likewise on the zits, that's gonna suck. When I first quit I had chest tightness and was actually coughing more than when I was on analogs. My partner at work who had quit two yrs ago said that was just my cilia waking up again after being nearly comatose for 20 yrs. After a week or so my lungs and bronchii felt much better.

Still worried about those zits, though.

Dehydration can indirectly cause pimples.

Actually, within my experiences, hydration will assist one to 'purge' da 'bakky impurities. I endured scalp 'eruptions' and nasal/ear pimples in da most remote and inaccessible crevasses! Thankfully, my digital spelunking demands have waned.

As far as gettin' sick, I never have since vaping. Any chance of being PG or VG intolerant? Nic too high?

Good luck, nonetheless!

Yes, I am going through toothpaste faster than I ever have, from brushing my teeth 3 times a day (helps with vapor's tongue), I am going through paper towels like...well, a lot, and I am catching myself looking at everyone in public to see if they have a PV in their hands. I *thought* a guy at the store had one today, and almost said something, but it was just a pen.

Other than that, I'm cool. :)
