So I posted before about being brand new to the e-cig and here is the thing I'm not sure of. I bought a starter kit from modern vapor.com (arrived 2 days ago), the most expensive one they have for the Sidesho. I ordered pre-filled cartridges so I could learn to do one thing at a time...ha ha. This kit came with 3 complete e-cigs, which is super awesome but I'm a little confused. The sidesho uses atomizers and I'm not getting much vapor at all, these are all new and I've used all 3 atomizers, also an automatic and manual battery. Here's the question, do I have to "break" the atomizers in to get vapor, do I have to wait in-between puffs or what? batteries are all charged, cartridges are full and the first puff is awesome...but after that, not much happens. I love the feel and the look of the sidesho and am hoping someone can shed some light on this. Smoked 3 analogs today because of the non-vapor issue and they were gross.... Boo hoo! Help me before my lungs collapse...ha ha!

Sidesho is not a powerful unit. It's a modified M401 or M402. I vape an M401 as one of my ecigs but I would only recommend it to an ultralights smoker or a light smoker of lights who is willing to fiddle with tiny carts. I replaced the juice cart stuffing with blue foam (after the stuffing got old and boggy) and I use juices I have bought elsewhere (mostly 70pg/30vg blends for more vapor). It can give be a decent drag fairly often, satisfies my nicotine craving, but very rarely a big throat hit. It is a tasty model though. One downside to it is that as lovely as it looks, the diameter of a cigarette only allows a small atty and tiny carts - basically super-mini size atty and carts with a somewhat better battery life.

It's possible you are getting an even weaker experience that you should though - maybe the carts are a bit dry or the stuffing has shifted. But if you didn't buy juice then not much way to do anything about that.

BTW - if you are commenting about visible vapor (hard to tell?) if the carts are filled with 100% PG juice than that doesn't make as visible a vapor as a blend like 70pg/30vg.

One thing you can try, in case the cart stuffing shifted, is to give the assembled ecig a quick jerk lengthwise, from cart toward LED.

Oh!!

Do you mean nothing nothing? Are they automatic batteries or manual?

Auto - try a small puff first to warm atty then your real darg.

All - did you drag too long or hold he button down too long? Some batteries have a 5 or 10 second cutoff and if you activate them longer they will cut out and not let you vape for anywhere from 10 seconds to a minute and a half.

Thanks for the info, I'll answer some of your questions to the best of my ability. I received 1 manual and 1 automatic, also the usb passthrough. They are all pretty much the same....first hit is okay and after that I get nothing. I ordered another Atomizer and Battery just incase it was something I managed to screw up being a noob, but this one is the same. I did contact them and received a reply on different things to troubleshoot, none of them worked. I followed up with them and have heard nothing. Im super bummed too let me tell ya, I cant stand the taste of regular cigs anymore and I find that until I order something that works, thats what Im stuck with. Just ordered the 2 part customized cig from Premiumecigarette.com. Hope that isnt another $150.00 worth of disappointment. I just want to vape with something super awesome, it seems my search continues. My order should arrive within 2-3 days, my fingers are crossed. Anyone tried these ones before??? Want some input BEFORE I open the box...LOL. Thanks Everyone!!!!

Nope. The recommended 2-piece is KR808D-1 aka Vapor King at Vapor4Life.com or Bloog MaxxFusion at BloogPlanet.com because this two-piece has the most support from reasonably-priced vendors, has more adapters available, has a fat-battery version from CigEasy

Most rebrander 2-pieces are one of 4 different models - either E9 aka KR808D-2 (incompatible with KR808D-1 but similar in performance) or RN4081 (a less popular 2-piece which might only be available as an automatic and is also sometimes sold as a 3-piece). Or the E8 - I don't know much about that but I get the impression it is smaller and has smaller threads. And just occasionally a rebrander will actually use KR808D-1.

Based on this list, Premium (or at least some model they sell) is an E8

The 2-piece should give you better drags than the Sidesho. However, if your vendor used the typical rebrander claim that a cart for the 2-piece last as long as a pack of cigarettes, that is a lie (and I see they do use that lie in their kit descriptions). Premium also has somewhat jacked up prices. Not as bad as some I have seen, but $25 for a battery is $6-10 too much. They also charge several dollars more for filled cartos. If you are lucky will they be the easier-to-refill soft-caps (rebranders usually sell hard-caps).
