Alrighty folks. I've been happy as could be until today. As I previously mentioned, I was sent a bad auto battery, which was supposed to show up in the mail today. it didnt. then this morning my only functional battery decided it was going to auto-activate constantly, without sound or touch. full on 8 secs, blinks, full on 8 secs., blinks, and repeat til the battery is dead. sent a tech support email this afternoon. haven't heard a peep. WTF is goin on here people? the 5 pall mall analogs buried in my car are singing. :(

Oh man! Try to hold out but don't feel bad if you have an analog. You'll be all the more happy when you go back to vaping. Don't stress it. Sucks though. One thing my wife and I learned fairly quick was to go with the manual batteries. Not only do we feel they give a stronger more consistent hit, but seem more reliable too. Especially the new ones that are sealed so no juice gets in them. In fact, I'd bet that's the issue. Turn it over for a while. In fact, suck on the threaded end and I bet you see juice bubble out of the hole a little. I would do that over and over sometimes. Good luck and we all feel your pain with the US post office. I used to order a battery a month just so I had lots of extras around just in case.

ugh... sucked on it like you said... yup. juice. tony said 2 drops for dripping. thats all i've been using. before i sucked on it, there was absolutely no sign of juice. how the heck is it getting in there and why didnt i see some between the atty and batt? now i feel like an idiot.

-edit- i went and grabbed the battery that had been acting funky since day 1. did the same thing as above. juice... honestly, i'm really bummed. if all auto batteries fail this easily, i really don't think the companies should even sell them because they are a flawed design. as much as i HATE it, manual batt, here i come. "EFF!"

Hey dont feel bad man! there is definitely a learning curve with this stuff. I recall reading before that its better to only drip with manual batteries. I got my 902 kit with a manual and an auto because i really didn't know which one i would like more. 2 weeks in and i love the manual battery and hate the auto. Its just too darn sensitive! (i can give a quick little blow at the end with the light and it lights up) When i take it out and about i have to uscrew the atty because it just goes off in my pocket constantly. that also has the bad side effect of it dying in about 30 minutes of not even using it!

Smokum gives a good suggestion at the bottom of this thread:

Hopefully Tony will get back to you soon!

I was able to revive an auto BLU battery that kept activating until it would burn itself out by blowing into the threaded end super hard for about 7 seconds whether or not air goes through didn't seem to matter. It "reset" the battery! I don't know if this will revive one that's got juice in it or not, but worth a try.

HEAT slowly kills lithium-ion batteries, and we are using these to HEAT/vaporize fluid. So, until they come up with a different heat-resistant formula for these things we are going to be stuck with short-lived batteries. I've started switching batteries if I'm having a vape-binge and overheating the battery now. Ordering a 3rd battery to see if I can lessen the abuse :)

I still think MV is higher quality than most other mini/thin style batteries so far.

heh. im not worried about em dying after 3 months or so... but them dying in less than a week is LAME! user error... yeah, yeah, yeah... i have one of them working enuff to last me til my manny batts arrive. i'll try your trick with the other one... it sez its charged and the light still blinks when u charge, so there is life... lets see if "blowing it" makes it happy. lol.
