I have a sigeli version of the zmax mini. I heard they have extension caps for the zmax mini, but I don't know if it would work with the sigeli brand. Anyone have any info or advice on this? Id like to get an extension cap but not sure where to get one or if it would work

I don't know if the Smoktech caps will fit a sigelei Mini or not, I do know the extension cap to allow you to use two 18350's for the sigelei V2 fit, but I don't know if they are big enough to run a 18490/18500. I have a Sig Mini and a Sig V2, so I tried the extension cap for the V2 on the mine, it fits, but I only have 18350's and 18650's, and the 18650 is definitely a no go in the Mini.

There are supposed to be extension caps coming out for the Sig Z-mini, but they aren't on the market yet. I likes da mini and beez watchin' it.

i hope they hit the market soon. i just recieved a black zmax mini and i would really like to be able to put an 18500 in it!
smok will not work on Sigelei Zmax mini. They are different dimensions.
There is a Tatroe base for Zmax that is 2 pieces, one is an extension tube + Zmax mini base should allow a 18500. I've also seen a post showing the twins work with it and my Vamo extension tube + Zmax mini base fits perfectly. I used a flat top battery. Someone else tried it with a button top and it was a tight fit. They had to push to screw the cap in. The finish is different on all those so it's not as good as if there was an extension from Sigelei. Those are the options that I know of so far. There may be more.

why not just get a black v5 sigelei zmax and you can use any battery size you want? save your mini for back up. the v5 in black is improved with a better menu system- the most versatile inexpensive mod around. beautiful, too. you are going to spend for a cap anyway so for a little more you can have the latest and never worry about battery sizes again....
well, I was in until I saw a pic of what it looked like in 18650 mode. you can see the aluminum or stainless steel! kinda defetes the purpose. I want an all black mod, not one that's silver in the centre. imo it looked terrible, and damn it all I was about to look for a preorder.

Here's an all black Sigelei ZMAX Mini for you. It's got a IBTanked pyrex carto tank on it. I found some Cricut black adhesive vinyl at Amazon for like $7 and cut strips and carefully wrapped the chrome around the top as well as the bottom cap, then did the glass on the tank, and I think it looks wicked cool. It's been on there over a month with no corners peeling and it still looks brand new. I actually have a black chrome drip tip on it now too.

So I saw the earlier post saying that the VAMO extension tube will fit on it and thought "Hey! I have one of those!!" I screwed it on and put a 18650 in there and fired it up and it works like a charm. The diameter of the VAMO tube is just a touch smalleer than the ZMax body, but I think you have to really look close to notice it. I wrapped it in black vinyl and, voila! Here is an all-black ZMax mini with a matching extension tube running a Panasonic 18650. I also included the box of vinyl too in case you wanted to go looking for it on Amazon.

sofar the finish has been good on mine and i don't baby it. no scratches sofar.
