I have the silver I almost grabbed the black but liked silver better. Id think black would show scratches more then the silver. As for juice consumption depends on build and wattage ur running. I run 75 watt havent gone through any more juice then my normal but my normal is like 7-10mls a day anyway

Just pulled the trigger on the silver. If I don't like it, there's always wraps!

So my vape mail anticipation brain is trying to work out what kind of build I wanna throw at it. I suppose you have to think about it backwards since it's buck instead of boost. I mean...think about what you want to be your high end wattage when the batteries are almost dead. I understand if the batteries don't have enough charge to fire what you have it set to, it won't fire or will cut your pull short... so what is the lowest voltage it lets the batteries get to?

If I assume 6v is where the device says "stop being lazy and go charge those batteries", and I want my max to be 100w (which I dont but...)... Then it looks like a .36ohm build will give you full range for the full life of the battery. Am I thinking about that right?

If looking to maintain 100w all the way until battery changes, I'd use about 7 volts to figure out what ohms to stay around. Nominal voltage on 18650s is 3.7 volts - running them lower than that before charging will significantly shorten battery life. 2x 18650s in series at 3.7 volts will supply 7.4 volts to the chip, with a small amount of loss at the chipset, resulting in around 7.0-7.2 max volts delivered to the topper. A build of 0.49 ohms should keep you at 100w all the way down to battery swaps.

the only difference i'm aware of are the version1 and 2....version 1 has no serial number or battery placement pic instruction inside and were demo models......version 2 has the updated items that version 1 does not.
101vapes says SX-330v3 Chipset. Due to arrive today!

I think the battery contacts varied between v1 and v2 as well.

I got branding and 100w on the mod, Tech Specs in manual were updated.
6.4 - 8.4 volts
.15ohm lowest atty resistance
10w - 100w still

charging batteries :-( must wait longer but they threw in 5 extra copper pins for the 510 connector. I'm not the only one that watched the you tube reviews.

yep i just watched the Version 3 video on you-tube, has on-board charging.....sure hope someone comes out with some replacement pins outta Silver or something.....i think Copper is good but it Tarnishes to easy & needs constant cleaning and it's mighty soft.......now i'm wondering about the batt straps and if there gonna break/tear easily and how long they will last......thank the powers that be i bought 4 VTC5'S about a month ago and have them stashed, i knew i was saving them for something good :vapor:

also ordered a 454 big block clone and one of those new drip-tops for the Tobh/Stillare/Vulcan ect.

thinking about turning a Tobh body upside down and doing a roller-coaster build, i can have a massive jooze well this way and slap on that drip-top.....gonna experiment with a few atty's ....
be interested what's being used by others, atty-wise & build.

I have 3 double 18650 box regulateds... never use the straps much; Some can be pulled out from the positive side (Dreambox is nipple tops), and the flat top Raptor same thing pick out with finger nail on pos. side.
Emech has springs so just push a bit on pos side against springs.
Ymmv

So what you're saying is you are strongly contemplating a 4th dual 18650 mod?

Heck yes; I have a Ranger OKR T10 50w coming and I think it will be my main go to based on good reports.

I pre ordered the Sig100.

I like all my boxes (in hand, and in coming)...

I use about 4 at home and a couple Reo's in my car/truck....

Yeah I'm that guy that likes to have what I blows my hair back. Until theres a better batt config for .3 to 1 ohms setups, dual 18650 is the only way to go.
Chain vaper here. Low nic 4mg.

I see these listed for 99 dollars from a bunch of vendors. Some of them are calling this a Raptor. Is there a difference of devices available?
Are all these Segelei 100w box mods - a one and only.. with no options.

I just noticed this while searching and now I'm confused about the Raptor part too. But down in most specs I read it said sx330.

Holy cow, I just turned back the clock into the future myself with a 2.2 ohms coil (using 30g wire) and pushing 5.8v and a mere 15w on a DNA30.
I'm gonna convert my coils for the raptor boxes and max out the voltage (only 5 or 6 volts) with higher res coils... the vape is awesome; no burnt hits just lots of vapor and flavor.

The Sig 100 goes up to over 8v like the T8... I'm looking for high voltage boxes to do this with; make longer surface area coils with thin wire and high volts.
