Hey guys, I was about to jump and purchase the sigelei 100watt mod. But I heard they are fixing a few small bugs (510 threading, and changing to a brass-plated copper pin instead of all-copper? Maybe something else too). I'd prefer to wait for this Version 3 of the Sig100 to be released before buying it, but can't find any info on when the new ones are coming out. Does anybody know? Or have any other info on the V3?
.... Thanks! :p

I'm excited to purchase this advanced mod because it's the first nice APV I've bought myself since I got my eVic 2 summers ago, and that's been broken since last Spring. I've been dripping for a few months now (usually 0.4-0.6ohm, dual 26/28g microcoils, on my Helios), and have been rebuilding my Protanks with microcoils for over a year. I'm excited to get a mod that will work for pretty much any tank, dripper, or device; have good battery life, huge range of power, and it's decently cheap! I'll be able to try lots of builds with it.
...... But with most important purchases I make (especially products I'm waiting on to come out, before they are released), I wait awhile until they work out the bugs with the earlier versions - until I purchase.

Thanks in advance!

e-mail Sigelei and ask when..........when i e-mailed them about the copper pin they just said to me that v3 will have the brass pin but i did not ask nor did they say when......as long as you use an atty that has an adjustable pin there are no problems.......the problem arises when you have to adjust the Sig 510 pin upwards to meet the atty pin then the Sig pin becomes wobbly and you have fluctuation/contact problems......on the recent v2 version you want the Sig 510 pin screwed all the way down and then adjust the atty pin to contact.......my Tobh cln. atty has a nice extended pin and it's been working perfectly.......there are plenty of atty's that have adjustable pins or you can possibly modify a clone with an o-ring or something under the pin to extend it.......for example i cut a 1mm piece off of the end (tip) of a jooze syringe and sanded it down to fit under my Vulcan atty cln pin to use with a hybrid adapter and it works perfectly....i know this is a hassle and buying the v3 would be the answer.....but it's really not a deal-breaker at least for me...yet that's just my :2c:
wish ya the best!

I don't have any atomizers with adjustable pins.. I mainly use my ehPro Helios, a Nimbus clone, and my Aerotank V2. I guess I'll have to grab one of those TOBH's, they seam to be all the rage lately.

Gonna have to e-mail Sigelei, I'll let you know what I hear. Thanks!

yea the Tobh with the copper pin extends pretty good, also a couple more reasonable candidates are the Veritas it can be adjusted by taking off the 2 top nuts and screwed down as far as ya want ......and the CLT by infinite it's adjustable but it's gonna cost a bit more prob between 25 to 40 buck range maybe a bit less if you look around......the Vulcan has an adjustable pin also but mine was not stable (it would move on it's own) until i modified it with the small spacer made that i described earlier. ....i do eventually plan on buying a good USA made adjustable atty for my Sig when i get the cash but until then my Tobh is rockin it.

i have the Tobh body turned upside down to enlarge the depth of my well, also raised the coils to match the holes.....i can put in 30 drops or better.

i e-mailed Sig about it got about the same response as above, i guess we will no when the vendors advertise

i would imagine with all the concern from us users of the device and the greedy folks out there who like to make lots of money we will see something soon......personally i would buy some replacements but my main focus will be to get a good adjustable pin atty.......

Hmm if anything I'll probably wait until they update the 1st batches more. Really leaning towards the IPV3 now though since it goes down to 7w, and much lower voltage I believe (but not as high?)? I can look up that info myself probably.

Wish the IPV3 had the Sig's fire button lol, and was built more like the IPV2. And the left touch-sensor on the 3 but it doesn't function, which is real odd.
... Will either the Sig or 3 fit in my pocket? Lol.
;)
Not trying to derail my own thread, but keep the feedback coming! Thanks everyone!!

I just want a mod that I can use ALL of tanks, protank,.drippers,.etc with. I mainly only want the lower voltage/wattage for use of my aerotank's and protanks - when I rebuild those with a microcoil I typically run it around 7-8w, same with the stock kanger single-coils. and I just got those Kanger Sub-ohm coils, 0.8-1ohms and they actually work real nice if you lung hit them like a dripper, use those sub ohm kanger coils at around 3-3.8volts.or they get too hot.

And of course, I've been getting more and more into dripping the past few months too (safely! But usually around 25-75watts lol).
... just want a device that I can screw anything onto, and.I will like it's looks and performance, if this is all possible.
