It seems like after a while of use, when I go to fire it, it seems to cut off after a couple seconds, The only thing I noticed that helps is if I drop the wattage down, it will fire longer for a while again and then do it again. Its down to like 20w with 52% battery.

Anyone else have this issue? Or know what this could be?

Update: put the batteries on the charger and one is empty, and the 2nd has only 1 bar flashing (4 bars being full) So im not sure why it said it had 50% battery left.

You have issues with the wiring in your device. For whatever reason it's drawing on one battery alot more than the other, which is not a good thing. Even if you were using two completely different batteries there shouldn't be that much difference in them..

What Clark Kent says is kind of debatable (no real interest in that debate), but either way wouldn't have that big of an effect.

The battery that is closer to the draw source, electrically, will tend to carry more load. Electricity like water takes the path of LEAST resistance.
