So I picked up a Sigelei 150 watt. First off I must say its awesome. The buttons compared to the ipv are just so much better...

For me personally the battery indicator has been pretty good. It will go all the way down to 0% before it no longer fired and says low battery. This is on 2 Samsung 25r batteries.

I have some questions though. First is regarding the battery indicator... Why is it that compared to the other manufacturers only Sigelei has been smart enough to list actual battery percentage instead of just a silly icon... It really helps you to know how much battery life you have left.

Secondly, the magnetic door is just great. Why does ipv still use screws? Obviously most of the people I know have glued magnetics in to replace the silly screws because that makes charging the batteries difficult.

Why can't you onboard charge these batteries? I dont seem to understand that? I would assume it is possible it there is some kind of issue where they don't want you to for safety or something..

Lastly, if you take one battery out, hold the fire button, and continue holding it while you put the one battery back in it will show up with a version number of the yihi sx330 chip that is in the device.

For example mine is v8.05, but my friends is version 7.41. Is there somewhere I could find out what differences there are between the versions?

Thanks for a y help, and any other interesting information related to the mod.

Lastly, has anyone noticed that the batteries seem to last longer on this mod than on others? It must be incredibly efficient in terms of using battery because it will last a couple days running 30-40 watts easy even on heavy vaping.

Thanks!

OP, thanks for the tip about the version number - just checked and mine's 7.4. Is there any way to update it?

Regarding battery life, mine only goes down to around 30-35% before running out of gas, now I'm wondering if that's something to do with versions.

All said and done, I love mine. Haven't run into any real problems yet - niggles like the wattage scrolling too quickly and the battery life thing I mentioned, but it's still a bloody good mod.

Yea I've seen people saying there battery will reach like 20% and stop firing... Anyone else having that problem? My battery indicator is somewhat accurate, and when it hits 0% is when it will say check battery.

Anyone else with a version number lower than mine have the battery indicator issue?

Other than that I haven't noticed anything weird. Works good so far.

When i first got my 150 i noticed it would only fire for about 1-2 seconds anywhere under 40% battery but now that i have been using it for almost a month it will go down to about 12% before it starts, almost like the chip is learning the batteries limits.

i think i depends on your ohms and what wattage you're running it at if i'm running a 1.4ohm coil i can go down to almost 0 but if i have a .2ohm at 60watts then it stops firing around 30% and i need to change batteries. Also onboard charging always causes issues it seems, better to get a dedicated charger and a few extra batteries.
