The mix and match looks great! I just pulled the top spring and phillips head screw from my brass Nzonic head. It was marking my battery up with a little circle, and that bothered me. lol

I have an 18500 in it at work and it is fine without the top spring. I'll have to check it with an 18350 when I get home.

(if I can ever get that #$#%^ button off)

Have you tried heat?

I know the delrin piece is in there, but it can take some heat. Thinking if you hit the button from the bottom outside for a little bit with the torch the delrin should be ok, just need enough to loosen up the glue. A bic might even do the job???

No gun cleaning supplies is Philly? :D

We've had two members that have used Hoppe's #9 (gun solvent) and said it works to get the button off. I think they said it only required about a 20-30 minute soak. You should be able to find it in any sporting goods store that sells gun supplies (or even Wal-mart). Good stuff.....and the smell is addictive :)

Nice job with the adapter! I'm assuming they are metric threads. I don't have a die large enough to handle the OD :(

They are something like 21.5mm x 1mm threads....I don't remember exactly what they were but they were far from a standard die. I cut the threads on a lathe.

It does look clean - nice drop :) is that with the SG1 ?
I'd like to lower mine but I don't feel like spending $25 + (twice) on a screw kit.
You don't really have to take the magnet out. It works fine with it.
yes, only ordered the 19 and the SG1 cause it was one of the cleanest looking to me, thinking maybe it was a bad investment lol. $55 or so I could've spent elsewhere, rocking my Natural for now till I can decide if I wanna keep messing with the 19 or just get rid of it before I break it :p

The 19 works just fine stock.
I don't know why people like messing with them.
Modding it is not necessary.
But there are those who just can't leave well enough alone.
Tweak this, add some of those, take that out, ..... with that, break this, smash that... it was fine to start with.

I think that's why people like me buy these budget mods. I won't be out a $250 mod that I'd have to order a $15 part from over seas and pay $20 in shipping ....I could just buy a whole new one! :)

 I kinda remember about 50 posts in this thread about shocks, burns and misfires.......

With all due respect, I couldn't disagree more. The bottom button is poorly designed. On ECF alone, dozens of people have reported problems with shocks, misfires, etc. The button design also causes sizable fluctuations in voltage drops. I'm currently using two 19b units and they both spark and shock. While I think that the product is a great value, it doesn't work just fine.

So, I'm a little disappointed. I just got my #19 "Copper" from VaporTek and it works fine. No sparking, no hot button, no misfires... Nothing! It works perfectly and I got the Nzonic head. What the Hell Sigelei? I wanted something to mod! This thing feels fine out of the box!

*sigh*

OK, if I had to nitpick the travel is super long and the button wobbles a bit. I'm trying to decide if I like the way the button practically pushes my finger back when I release it.

Todd has a review up for the new 19e (copper/brass) and basically says the same thing....no issues out of the box and very respectable vdrop.

But that is not the case for the stainless version I had!!!

I wonder how much that has to do with the changes and how much has do with the mod being brass vs stainless.

My "copper" has great threads, no binding and hits good out of the box. I have the SS #19, its threads are squeaky, button is not as smooth as the "copper". No matter, I will be tuning them both over the weekend.

notice the copper, does come with a copper "plated" nzonic clone head. These are both using the sg-1 + term-c

Interesting that Todd's device did not have a magnet on the button. Mine does have a magnet.

Hmmmm... are you saying with the #19e/Nzonic that the head is Brass plated??? I thought it was supposed to be machined from solid Brass like the rest of the mod.... if it's just plated, I will be very disappointed!
