Sigelei 200W parallel 20A safety questions

Just purchased a 200w sigelei and I have 2 20A batteries. This equals 40A, right? If so, what is the highest watt I can run on this safely. Can't find anything about it online. Or is it regulated and will say it can't drain that much? I'm running a .5 ohm aspire Triton 2 and she hooked it up with a .3 as my replacement instead of the 1.5. Currently vaping at 40, which is my preffered. But I vaped it a 70 earlier with no problem, just want to know how high I can go so I can show off or just mess around with xD. Safety is my concern. Thanks!

    The max wattage you can use depends on which batteries you have. If they're true 20A batteries then assume about 35A total since they might share the current equally.

    I was wrong above. This is a series box and you're limited to 20A total if you do not want to exceed the rating of your batteries.

    Start at about 100W and see how hot your batteries get for the way you vape. If they get hot enough that you can't keep them in a closed fist for 30 seconds they they are too hot. Back off on the power and/or the length/frequency of your draws.

    Just a quick note...
    I have the 0.3 ohm coils in my Triton 2 now and you're never going to get those coils to survive (without burining the cotton) going much higher than 70W. At 70W it's already a darn hot vape.

    Yeah, one must consider the atty as well. High wattage will be dependent on airflow, insulator material and coil mass.

    I personally vape for flavor :). I have some rather large 7 wrap Claptons in one of my MT RTAs. I'm vaping at 46W and am happy. Someone else looked at my build and said, "That will go past 100W!". And he copied it and is vaping it over 100W. So two of us using the same build and atty and using them in very different ways.

    Yup, that's about it. Anybody vaping routinely over 70 watts or so needs titanium lips, a 316 stainless throat lining and leather lungs. But high watts is helpful to get massive coils up to temp quickly, and the huge airflow in the attys where they are typically installed hold down the time it takes to draw in a lungful. As @Mooch says above, it gets hot over 70 watts. Quickly. Those super high powered mods are really best in TC mode. They use big-and-hairy watts to heat wild coil builds in a hurry, then back off to something resembling a sane power level once they get there.
