Thanks for the video sigelei! To me it's clearer now.. but did they think we should have known that by ourselfs? Also, it would be much easier to understand if the 213 would allow 5 digits after the decimal point. Their tool gives you too many digits.

Still don't know why they did this ºF calculating and thought all the people would be fine with it without them telling them.. Especially when nearly all tables you find online are measured with ºC..

No.

So just to confirm the real problems are in the TCR mode not the TC presets? I never use TCR anyway.

I like the look of the black Fuchai 213 but not sure I will buy another sigelei product especially without updates.

Have to be a rx200 or dna 200 device as a stay at home mod next.
Can anyone post size comparison pics of the RX and the 213?

I don't have pics now (I'm sure someone can help with that), but I have both mods and the 213 is smaller and a lot lighter. That said, especially for a home, sitting on the table mod, I love the RX and I just got my 200s in and the new bigger screen IS pretty nice. The RX is a known quantity at this point. Rock solid, battery life for days for most folks and cheap. I heard someone saying they were as low as $30 for the older RX? Great deal. Although, that Mike Vapes dude still hates the 510 on the new one if that matters to you.

My tc presets work fine, others have reported that theirs do not. Also, my tcr does work, I just have to use the number provided by Sigelei compared to what I find on steam engine, and tweak a couple of things.

The RX actually looks a decent size there, but every time I've held it I just think nah.

Will end up getting one as my home mod with an rda, 213 and avocado 24 for on the move
I felt the same way about the RX when I first got it but after having for awhile I like the way it feels in my hand. I also don't mind heavy mods. The Sig213 is much much lighter.

So while most scientific, engineering and labs the world over have settled on using Centigrade units Sigelei decided (on their own without telling anyone) that Centigrade was not good enough for them and decided to use Fahrenheit units? :w00t:

Its all so clear to me now. They were doing us a favor!

Many of us in Western countries display the temperature in Fahrenheit units so why not calculate the TCR that way?:pervy:

Lets not forget that I personally can't think of ANY other TC released mod which uses a Fahrenheit TCR numbers. ROTFLMAO!

    Ok, Sigelei, sure.

I'm pretty sure this was all an accident.. their math on the video doesn't even make sense. Besides half of .00092... is not .00049 like thier tcr calculator suggests. It's also infinitely less accurate when using .0005 instead of .00092. I guess they were just hoping no one ever vaped it in any tcr modes
I did the math from the video and it works out to what their website tool provides. I went to steam engine and input the info for my coil, used their formula with the steam engine numbers and it all comes out.

Actually, a little research will confirm that Fahrenheit is superior for measuring temperature precisely. Honestly, I think Sigelei was just trying to create a more precise tc device. Maybe they could have went about things a little differently.

After using the numbers provided by their tool and checking the numbers from steam engine against their formula, I am happy with the way the mod performs now.

That said, I still would like to see a couple of things addressed in a firmware upgrade.
