Looking to jump into sub ohm vaping. Currently I'm using an mvp 20 with a nautilus mini. It has been great but I'm really wanting to kick it up a notch. I am looking for recommendations from more experienced people than myself. Debating over the eleaf 50 or sigelei for a mod and the Atlantis or kanger subtank for the tank portion. What do you guys think?

Well the real question is whether you want to have to change your batteries or want them built in both are fantastic devices one you have to have spare batteries for the other you plug In while you sleep because the battery lasts for what seems like forever. As far as a tank goes I have used both, and I own the subtank mini and have to say that the mini has better flavor than the Atlantis and at lower power too so battery lasts longer. The subtank mini also offers a RBA section which I found really intensifies the flavor but also tightens up the draw. If your looking for a higher power handling tank look into the Delta II by Joyetech it will handle 50 watts with ease it's a little more money but really puts out the vapor. I'm a Sigelei fan and love their boxes but also think the I-Stick's a worthwhile investment so that's going to be what suits you better they both do the same thing. Ones just a little less maintenance battery wise the trade off is I sticks battery isn't Consumer replaceable. That is the only fault with the I-Stick line in my book but the battery life is insane by comparison.

I have the Subtank mini and it is an awesome all day vape. I have a .50 a 28 gauge nichrome parallel coil 6 wrap in my RBA section and run it at 24.5 watts it is warm and flavorful. I save my drip atties for home after work and cloud chase for some fun. You can rebuild the stock coils for the subtank's rather easily too if you start getting good at wrapping your own coils.

I run a 50W Istick and a Lemo tank. The lemo is rebuildable only, but to be free of those replacable coils is heaven. Rebuilding is not hard at all. I would have saved lots of cash if I had just gone to the Lemo before the Atlantis. Imagine not having to change coils every few days and constantly monitoring your stash of new coils.

As a long time sigelei user up till last week.... I would say undoubtedly - the istick 50w. Very happy with it for the money.. Nothing can compare to dual batteries.. If you want sigelei go with the 150w and spend more than double plus batteries..

Those were my two options for upgrading and I went istick. (The 150 is better than the 100w)

I just wanna know where Eleif got the idea that 5v=1a.

But-but, it must be true for them to engrave it on the bottom of the iStick 50.

By my way of thinking, that would only be true with a 5 ohm resistor.

That's not an equals sign.

Edit: It took quite a bit of Google-fu, but I figured out what it was and how to write it. It's used to indicate what kind of current (AC or DC) is output by the charger (built-in to the device, in your case.) DC (direct current) is indicated by the solid line over the dashed line: ⎓ (symbol u+2393) and AC (alternating current) is indicated by a wavy line: ~. So the "5v ⎓ 1A" on your device means that the onboard charger puts out five volts (5v) of direct current (⎓) at up to one ampere (1A).

I have the iStick 50 and love it! I also have a Sigelei 150 that I love. Both seem to work great, feel great, and have really good reputations. I got the 150 first, and then decided I wanted something a bit smaller. I rarely go above 50 watts, so the iStick seemed to be the best fit. Hard to beat for the price. I have used it for both dripping and tanks with no issues. Battery will usually get me through a day and a half, to two days, depending on what I am using and how much I use it. I do go through about 10 to 15ml a day on average. I would say either will suit you fine, just depends on which features you like a little better.

Thanks for all the info. Went ahead and pulled the trigger on the eleaf and subtank mini. They were sold out almost everywhere so I was lucky to find a sight that had both in stock.

My deciding factor for the mod was the built in battery. 4400 mah is no joke. In my line of work (lots of air travel) I foresaw issues with the sigelei and the extra bulky batteries/charger to tote around. I needed to keep my vaping supplies as compact as possible. If I worked closer to home I probably would have gone with the segelei 100w plus for longevity purposes, but I can't wait to get the new setup in the mail.

In my experience the Sigelei brand as a whole is much better build quality than Eleaf

I love my sub tank mini although this morning I couldn't get the RBA to unscrew. Using care I clamped the base and attempted to loosen it. In the process I tweeked the center and was able to reassemble it but am worried it won't come apart again. Does anyone know of anyone selling just the RBA ?

Yup! Good choice on the Subtank!! You'll love it! It only seems to get better and better.

Just an FYI to you and others thinking about either the 50W Sigelei or 50W Eleaf, the 18650 battery for the Sigelei is REMOVABLE. You can put it into a Charger OR you can leave it in the Sigelei and charge it using the included USB charger! That is freaking Great!! Buy two batteries and always have 1 charged!! Sub-ohming does blow through batter life! But I was at 0.2ohms and could chain vape for hours!! So battery life isn't that bad! Then when I wanted or needed to charge, plug in the USB!!

I truly love this little Sigelei!!

But the sigelei 50 can only take one battery. That's at a disadvantage to the i50.. Parallel or series battery last much longer than two singles run through a mod.

Im not knocking the sig50, its all a personal choice... If I were to go sigelie it would be the 150.. Which of course is a beast that is excellent. -This is from a long time sigelie user, sigelie was all I had.
