I'm pulling the trigger on an single 18650 sx330 box mod and the finalists are the sigelei 50w V2 and the IPV2X. Basically, I will be replacing my Cloupor Cana as my out-and-about daily driver so build quality is a top priority as I move around a lot. I prefer the aesthetics and button on the ipv2x while the sigelei 50w v2 offers a magnetic door. Both look to be improvements on earlier offerings. Anyone have their hands on either of these? Which one would you buy?

I've owned both. Currently I just own the Sigelei 50w v2 though. I would definitely pull the trigger on the Sigelei! I've only had it for a few days, but I couldn't be happier. It's everything I want it a device. It's been flawless. Looks, feel, functionality, you name it...top notch! I honestly can't think of one thing that needs improvement.

As far as the ipv2x...I sold it. Not that it's a bad mod, I just didn't like it nearly as much as the Sigelei 50. Although the touch sensor can be disabled, it was kind of annoying. Very easy to accidentally fire. I also wasn't to happy with the quality control. To me it just seemed like it could have been built better...maybe a little more attention to detail. The functionality was fine. At the end of the day my Sigelei just looked and felt so much better, therefore I got rid of the ipv2x

I've also been trying to make this choice as well sigelei 50w v2 dose anyone know if it has a PWM mode like ipv mini I kinda like that it "attempts" to have step down I would get it if it had 50w + PWM. + small enough to vape and drive safely.
Not sure. There is no selection for pwm to dc-dc mode. I can say that it does seem to increase from it's lowest setting. In other words 7 watts is noticeably weaker than say 10 watts.

I will also say the sigelei feels and operates much nicer than the IPV Mini 2. Plus IPV has the dreaded 510 tilt.

I'm in the same problem. But just added one more choise: sx mini from yihi.... bit pricier but better quality.... choices, choises......

Edit: Whoops!

I think the sx mini is pretty rad. The problem is that it would cost me an extra $100 and I'm not sure the features and build quailty justifies the price. At that point I might be considering a vaporshark rdna 40. Or, just waiting for the sx mini that's going to ship with their new temp control chip!

That's useful information! Thanks. I was thinking that the ipv2x looked like a substantial improvement in terms of build quality and I actually prefer the ipv aesthetically (wavy lines don't do it for me). The magnetic battery door (very clever), build quality and performance on the sigelei seem tough to beat.

Sigelei 30 watt - sigelei 50 watt - IPV Mini 2

Nice pics! I was thinking that the Sigelei would be substantially larger than the ipv mini and sigelei mini but it's pretty close. It's also helpful to hear that you prefer the operation and feel of the Sigelei which is something I was worried about. If I waited, the ipv mini 2 is probably going to be less expensive. The issue is whether or not $20 and 20 watts is worth the sacrifice of the fit and operation of the Sigelei.

I bought my wife the sigelei v2 50w to replace her istick, I too was looking at the yihi sx mini but the sigelei was like a third of the price, I didn't expect too much in the way of quality for the price but was pleasantly surprised, the 510 threading and spring loaded pin are great and it is so simple to operate, no complicated menus just set your watts and the voltage is calculated for you seems to read the ohms as per my ohms meter with no fluctuations, overall very pleased with the purchase, was going to go for the 100 + but in the end I suppose form won over function the 50 watt is smaller and single 18650

Just bumping this thread to say thanks for all the input. I pulled the trigger on a silver Sigelei 50w after I found it for $59 shipped here:

Wow! Great price Viking! I paid a little bit more for mine, but still worth every penny. I've had it for a couple of weeks now and I still don't have a negative thing to say about it. I'm sure you will enjoy!

Well... I just ordered one. Been loving my Cloupor Mini for the past few weeks but 30W is just a little less than I like. I definitely have been missing the 35-40 watts that I vape on when I'm using my Sigelei 150W at home so I'm thinking the slightly larger size trade off would be worth it while on the go. Hopefully it arrives this weekend since they're located fairly close to where I live.
