I've had my sig 50 v2 for almost a month and I'm loving it. It's not the tiniest device but it is pocketable--and I'll take the hit on size to get excellent build quality and performance.

The only drawback (besides the wavy lines which are ugly) is that now I want a 100w or 150w sig to drive my rdas!

The thing that worries me the most is it being to Big.

I guess it depends on what you are comparing it to to consider it big, I kind of thought that too from all the pictures I seen on here but after you get one in your hand its really not bad at all. A huge criteria for me was something that I can fit and keep in my back pocket at work and its a very physically demanding job. The Sig fits that bill for me and will work just fine.

Thanks for the replies. I'm going to order tomorrow.

Well, it's been awhile now (a couple of months) so I was wondering how ya'll are like'in your Sig 50 vr2's, specifically how are your's holding up to daily use ? Any problems at all ? I've been check'in this thread off and on since the last post as I bought 1 myself April 3rd and couldn't be happier with it. I hope that it last for a good long time. I got mine from Vapor Range also for $ 54 I think. I have a Lemo 5ml on it, coiled at 1.5 ohms with 30 Gauge twisted 10 wraps, 2mm ID and set at 11 watts. I go thru about 5 ml a day and get 30-35 hours on my battery before I have to change it out. This sigelei is very impressive and I'm just wait'in for the price to get down to where it was when I got mine so I can get another one.

Going to have to keep an eye on this thread and consider Sigelei as my next alternative. I went with the iStick 50w for size - very compact and extremely comfortable in the hand. This was an upgrade from old MVP2 (11w max) units ....which btw still work after over 2yrs of abuse. Much like the MVP, I'm not a huge fan of the hard corners of these boxes.

I have been using the Sig 50 Watt V2 for a couple of weeks now, and love it. Haven't had a single issue with it so far. Battery life is great (using a 2600 mwh battery). I think you are better off investing in 2 (or more) batteries and a decent charger than depending full time on charging the battery in the unit. Not to say that you can't charge in the unit, but for full time usage I prefer using an external charger. I just don't fully trust the charging circuits in many small electronic devices (so, it's not just this unit). I think you get better overall battery charges from a good external charger and better overall battery service/life.

I'm still loving mine that I got in early February! Not a single flaw or misfire. The 510 connection is still perfect and the finish still looks great. The Sig 50 is still my number 1 favorite most reliable device.

Thats encouraging for sure. I baby the hell out of ALL my vape gear so I hpoe that all I have to buy are replacement Sammy 25R-s (I got 4 of them for my 50 VR2 and also my Sig mini 30) which I numbered 1-4 and rotate them. Also, some have wondered about the size of the 50 VR2. I read the specs. b-4 I got mine but what might be more meaningful to some is the fact that I can hold mine in my hand and still touch my thumb and middle finger around the Sig 50, and for a guy I have rather small hands, NO Bear Paws here.

I have several Sammy 25R's I use in rotation and just swap them out like you, but I did charge both my Sig-50 VR2 and my Sig mini 30 when I got them via USB cord just One time to see if there was gonna be a problem. There wasn't, but I was wondering if they use a fast charge or normal charge for the USB charge port ? Maybe thats why some of the mod's have problems and overheat ? I didn't write the times down when I charged mine, I knew I was forgetting something darn it. I use a Intellicharger I4 myself and NO problems with anything there. I check my batteries after charging (about 10-15 minutes later just to let the Batt's settle down from the charging cycle) and get a reading of 4.22 volts on all bays except bay 3, and thats giving me 4.21 volts, and I've tried all 4 Samsung batteries just to make sure it's not the battery. Thats all good enough for me, close enough for Government work as they say.

I haven't had in issue in the two or three months that I've had the device.

Build quality is great and it's a great bang for your buck.

Imo its perfect for someone like me who primarily uses tanks but also likes to use rdas occasionally

I've got 5 Lemo's (2 Black, 1 S.S. 5ml and 2 Lemo Drop's 1 Black, 1 S.S.) that I rotate on both my Sig 50 and my Sig mini 30, and thats all I run my Sig's. Happy, Happy after 52 years of tobacco and now ONLY Vape. Life is Good.

the 510 connection, ah yes. What I do is I just leave my Lemo bottom section attached to my Sig and take the tank itself off and on to re-coil/re-wick or rotate tanks, thinking here is that IF the threads or 510 pin might be a little soft then less wear, you know. But your report sounds encouraging. Mine still looks good also, I've been using the supplied Silicone Sleeve from day one on my Sig's, hey, how would one clean those sleeves anyways, you got any Ideas ? Soap might leave a residue even if washed off good, I know Nothing about silicone maintenance.

After some You Tube investigation I found that regular dish soap for the milder dirt and grime or Non-Oily eye make-up remover for the tougher ground in dirt works. I used that antibacterial pump bottle hand soap and a vegetable brush on my Black Silicone sleeves and report a complete success. My VR2 looks clean again.

I am planning to purchase a Sigelei 50w vr2. While shopping around none of the online vendors show it
Coming with a sleeve. Do I have purchase it seperate?
    Sigelei 50w VR2 Mod - $55.17 USA | Best Vape Deals

That deal with a coupon code is still going (I just checked). Both black and silver are in stock and they come with silicone sleeves. $55 is a steal for a Sig 50.

Full disclosure- I've never ordered from that site so I can't vouch for them.

Just got my Sig 50w today as a early Fathers Day gift and very impressive mod! One of my sons has a 150w and hasn't had any but good to say about Sigelei. I usually vape between 25 and 40w so this should fit my needs perfectly. Great build quality and came with the sleeve. My daughter got this from MyVaporStore. We have purchased from them before many times and their customer service is very good.
