You probably can use ti, setting the temp much lower, but it won't be mapped for it. I also am interested in this mod and the Snow Wolf, but I might be better off with the Evic since I use ti.
the evic has been my most disappointing mod lately- it sure looks nice and feels like a top shelf product, but vaping with it has not been what i anticipated-a gimmicky(to me) user interface(the wheel instead of buttons) the evic has never produced the great vapor and taste like the hcigar vt40- now that has been absolutely solid with no glitches so far. if the sigelei 75 is anywhere close to the hcigar then i will be satisfied. i will work with the evic some more but there are too many good mods now (and coming) to spend a lot of time vaping a mod that looks good but doesn't perform well....JMHO.....

I just went for the preorder at 101vape for the ipvd2.

Still have my eye on this Sig, too, though.

Looks smaller than this one, and slightly cheaper, so thats a bonus. Saw a couple sites with the 75W in stock today, so more information / reviews should be coming soon.

I know that temperature control only works with nickel wire but, does this sigelei 75w TC ONLY operate as a temperature control device? Does anyone know if it will also work as a normal vv/vw device for a normal kanthal build? I'm thinking about getting this but I've never used ni200 wire nor do I have any. I have plenty of kanthal and I'd just like to know if I buy this thing it will also work with my lemo drop v1 that I use kanthal builds in, without the temp control, until I can get my hands on some nickel wire and try building with that stuff.

It looks pretty good imo, would be nicer if they had a murdered out all black version( I'd buy it immediately.) I saw they have an dual battery 100w tc sigelei on their site now but.. I think it's shaped ugly.

A single 18650 isn't bad but say I want to run a dual coil nickel build at like.. I duno 0.08 res and fire that at like 40w-50w. Is the battery life going to be short lived? I don't know much about nickel wire so does anyone out there use dual coil nickel builds in rda's and run it at like 50w+ on a single 18650 battery? How low res is the average dual coil nickel build?

I want this thing but I'm also thinking about getting the sigelei 150w and an Aeolus atty.

Off topic- I went to syntheticlouds website and they have copper, stainless steel, and brass versions of the Aeolus v2... No all black ones. I saw a Aeolus pro, it was black and it also has like gold plated pins ect. No included drip tip or volcanizer. I haven't read any reviews of the Aeolus pro nor any videos so I don't know if it's something i'll be buying. I just want an authentic Aeolus v2 all black lol.

It has a POWER mode for regular kanthal builds so no worries there.

I've read they may have extra panels available at some point, but yeah, an all black would have been what I was after as well.

Battery life will be pretty short with one battery, and high wattage, it is what it is. I use my SX M with a single 18650, and get 4-5 hours of pretty regular to heavy vaping at 35-50J. I would imagine this to be pretty similar to any single 18650 regulated mod.

Yesssss to the power mode, I like that very much. Shorter battery life yeah meh. I was thinking that was going to be the case. 4-5 hours isn't too bad though.

Some black panels would make this thing look killer!

I just now saw the ipvd2 and it looks pretty good, its also a single battery, 75 watt temp control mod. I'm happy I got a couple hundred put back for upgrading my setup, all these good tc mods are coming out and I'm happy. I'll just wait a bit longer for the reviews on them to really help me deiced which one I'm going to prefer.

I'm wondering if I could have some feedback on what gauge nickel wire I should start out with to make my builds ?? I will be pretty much making builds for my RDA's and prefer dual coil setups..
Is there a a particular gauge of nickel or tempered Nickel wire that is a "must have" ???
I personally use 28g regular ni200. It is softer than kanthal but you should get use to it. Just be gentle with it. I found that 30g is way too flimsy for me, especially when re-wicking.

Thanks for the help.. What's the "word" on tempered nickel wire (preferably 28g Ni) does it have any "cons" ??
Also I have seen many single coil nickel builds.. Is it probable that dual coils aren't the best choice for achieving the "sweet" spot ???

CJ, I use 26g Ni (non-tempered), spaced single coil. About 0.08 @ 475-510 degrees. Works great on a Kranger Subtank Mini with the RBA section (original version). That is on the IPV 4 TC. The regular Ni 26g is plenty sturdy for nicely formed coils, just check your spacing after you put the cotton in. If you have a nice tight wick, the coil may close up a little in places as you are pulling the wick through. I just space them back out with a VERY small flathead screwdriver. Looking forward to hearing the reviews on this 75w Sigelei.

lunar- ALL TC mods work in regular/power mode(with kanthal) as well as TC mode. no matter what you can always vape with kanthal coils/wire builds and any mod will work just fine. as a matter of fact, when a TC mod says it's a "75 watt" device that figure is for kanthal in regular(non-TC)mode. you will find their power for TC builds is a lot less, generally around 50 watts or so. for most vapors that is more than enough-to repeat, ALL mods that have TC can also vape in regular vv, or vw, or both(depending on the mod) so you can always vape with them even if you discover TC is not for you. for me, TC is much better because i have found that ni200 coils taste MUCH better than kanthal coils(YMMV). for me, there is no metallic taste with TC while even my best non-TC mod(sx mini s class) has that metallic taste, while even the cheapest TC mod with ni200 coils doesn't have it at all. that is why i am switching all my mods over to TC- just a much better taste....

Got mine on Saturday morning and very impressed so far. The build quality is top notch, the screen is very clear and bright and my experience in temp control is the best that I have had so far (sxmini, vaporshark rdna and evic vt). As a caveat to this I must state that my knowledge and understanding of tc is a bit limited :)
One minor niggle (perhaps major to some people), in power mode, the device is reading my resistance approx. 0.03 ohms higher than it should. This has been tested on my Kanger subtank plus, my Lemo 2 and my ud zephyrus. I am looking forward to further reviews so that I can determine wether this applies to my device only or occurs with all of them.
Slight niggle aside, I'm absolutely loving the looks, feel and performance of this device.
