I've never used a Kick since I didn't want to spend $50 to kick a $17
mod. I bought 4 of the clones for $15 each and just ordered 11 more at the same price (great co-op). I won't be putting them in and out of mods so that should help them last longer! They do stutter, every one of them. But I like to hear it working. It's about the same sound as the Vamo.
The biggest problem with them not fitting in everything is they aren't all completely round so it may require a bit of sanding. I had to sand on 2 of mine to get them round. I couldn't get them to work in my plastic bolts. Sounds like I probably could but I don't want to mess with pushing and pulling it past those threads. I tried it twice and it was pretty rough so I quit. It works great in the KTS. Install it from the top and you don't have to go over as many threads.
I like that it goes dead since before I was left wondering what volt I was
vaping at. But I can see where a warning would be nice!
I really like the clone but I can't compare it to the kick. If I had an expensive mod I'd pick up a kick to try it out. I do know that some people are putting heat shrink on the clone to help protect it. I went with the clone strictly for the price and for $15 I'm really happy with it. If I had tried a kick first I might not be as happy.....this way I don't know what I'm missing
There are pros and cons to everything and its up to each individual to decide what works best for them. In the end it's all about enjoying what you vape.
