I had a very hard time finding any flavor that I liked. I ended up with DIY unflavored.
Same here. After spending a pile of cash in dozens of different flavors, the only thing I can vape is strait ice menthol (which doesn't taste actually) and copa's heisenberg (although on this one I need to switch back to menthol every 20ml or I get tired of it.

You know, I was on a website checking to see if they carried something else I needed, and decided to look at the APVs while I was there (and while they carry the needle nose bottles I need, they are out of stock, so I ordered them from someplace else), and they are carrying the Sigelei Zmax V3 for as much as I paid for the V5, and V5 is almost $100. I knew they were more expensive on devices, but my jaw hit the floor.

Check out Movapes, they are selling the V3 kits(flat top SS) for 25$ comes w a 18650 and 18350 and charger. If there is any left....I bought 5 ,couldn't help myself:)

Considering I paid just over $55 for my V5, that seems like a reasonable price.

Oh, and um, shoot, I think it's Redbeille? You know, I don't know if it was this way with the V3, well, when I got the V3, I thought you had to keep your finger on the button until your selection clicked, and then you could select, say your wattage, which is why I always overshot the settings. I was very happy when I accidentally found out that you just had to leave the screen on the menu selection and it would automatically go into that setting, so you could adjust the wattage or voltage. Saved me a lot of hassle, lol.

Just wanted to stop in and ask if I can use flat top 18350's for a Version 5 flat top Zmax that I have. I've always used button tops and wondered if it's okay to go ahead and buy some much needed new batteries. I saw a nice deal on ebay this morning for AW flat tops.

I use them in mine and they work fine....I use button tops and flat tops.

Thanks for the tip. :thumb: Movapes has Sigelei Zmax Mini and V3 on clearance sale for $25. The Minis are flat tops and in colors with free shipping. The V3s are stainless steel slant top (also known as round top). No flat top V3s.

I'm really considering ordering one today. Like I mentioned earlier, I have a v5 flat top and have been using it more now than ever before because I finally got into the Nautilus mini's recently. Is there anything that I should know before I place the order (as far as the differences, etc)? It looks like it's very similar except mine doesn't have the 'mean' mode and it has a different etched look that I was originally wanting before I purchased the v5.
If it comes as the kit, that's even more impressive for that price! I didn't see anything on the site about it coming as a kit though.

Every Sigelei V3 and V5 I have seen has selectable Mean and RMS voltage operation at Menu Item #8. V5 is identical to V3 in all respects but adds a few features including menu Item #9 for the cell phone charger, a two line display when fired, puff counter, battery gauge in addition to battery power display, current display, and puff timer.

The electronics and features of Sigelei Zmax Mini should be identical to Sigelei Zmax V3. The differences are in the tube. V3 is stainless steel telescopic, Mini is solid tube and these look to be colored aluminum. V3 and V5 can use 18350, 18490, 18500, 18650 and 2x18350 batteries. Mini uses only a single 18350 battery. V3 and V5 with the short battery cap measure the same 100mm in length as the Mini. Sigelei Zmax V2 is solid stainless steel tube: 18650 and 2x18350 only with the same electronics and features as Mini and V3.

All V3 and V5 use either flat top or button top batteries.

There are Sigelei trim styles that we call flat top and slant top. This affects the shape of the removable top cap and body trim like grooves or rings around the tube.

What he said. My V3 had RMS/Mean mode on it. The only difference, that I know of, between V3 and V5 is that with V5, you can use it to charge a cell phone, or rather anything with a micro-usb charge input - but you can't do it while you are vaping (so, to my mind, what's the point in having the ability, if you have to stop using it to vape in order to use it?).

I have no use for the charger input. I have one and I'll probably never use it.
Well, I just put my order in for the v3 over at movapes and I also got a great deal on all of my batteries there. :)

True, you can't use the V5 cell phone charger while vaping it.

If you have two V3s and a V5 like I do then one can be used for charging the cell phone and another for vaping.

I have used the V5 with a 2000mAh 18650 to charge my Samsung S4 Mini. Works fine. California had power failures last week with a big storm. I made sure I had charging options ready for the cell phone including a 12V charger for the car and charged 18650s for the V5.
