Sorry to barge in the thread but I have a small situation is just got a sigelei Zmax.

My ego threads seem to not be correct . 0 out of 5 kanger evod will thread. They just slide right over the threads not a chance in hell of trying to thread

I'm gonna attach a picture with my flat top ring removed

Ignore the black o rings it's to protect my glass table

Thanks in advance

I'm curious to know what version Sigelei that is. I have a Sigelei V3 Flat Top Telescope and my upper collar is not removable. That aside, I don't know if it's due to the angle the pic was taken at, but those outer e-go threads look a little worn down to me, but I could certainly be wrong. Did you possibly cross-thread something onto those threads previously? Do you have anything else that you could thread on to verify them besides the EVOD's? If they turn out to be bad, I wish I could give you some advice on how to repair those threads, but I don't have much experience with it. Maybe you can remove and replace the entire threaded portion, but again, I haven't personally needed to do that yet, so I'm not familiar with that possibility. Maybe someone else will pop in and give you some better guidance. I've had my Sigelei apart by removing the entire top cap in a vise, but since your upper collar is removable, I'm not sure if you can pull off your top cap the same way. The reason is that you don't have anything solid to grap onto, since you could deform the removable collar when attempting to remove the top cap of the device. I've wanted to disassemble my Vamo V3 which also has a removable top collar, but I'm faced with the same dilemma. Sorry I haven't been very helpful. Worse case scenario is that you could just use a 510 tank instead, such as the Kanger Protank II. That's what I'm currently using. Good luck, I hope you get squared away.

Yeah I'm using a probably 2.

The website shows its a v3 . But who knows.

The unit is brand new. I tried the evod right away and none of them would fit. I just wanted to know if mine looks like others but so far everyone says their collar doesn't come off.

I don't know the selling business told me that evods won't work cause threads are too high inside the tank but I knows that's not true.

But they're trying to help me with the problem

Just to clarify you guys can run an evod on yours correct?

I bought a V3 flattop about 6mo ago. I did a ton of research to find the best mod for me. It was my first real mod after an ego. It was also the best ecig purchase ive ever made. It works perfect to this day. Never had a seconds trouble. I dont know why anyone would buy the vamo over the V3. I do wish my topcap came off. Thats nice. I did drill two holes through the topcap so I could flushmount tanks. Its a great buy at $50. I will always love my V3.

I have had my Sigelei Zmax V3 for a little over a week now and I love it. No issues, taste of juices have improved, and the battery life when using an 18350 is great, and incredible when using 18650s. Aesthetically it looks nice, the build is very solid. I originally intended it to be a stay at home mod and to use my ego twist as a beater, but this thing never leaves my side. Great value and a great product.

Here is my Sigelei Zmax V3 flat top telescopic. I've used it every day for six months and one day. Shown here with an Efest 18500 inside and a new cast on my broken leg.

Ouch. Sorry about that leg.
Is that a self-punched carto on there?
