I got a 19 and a 20 in a coop. Both what I would call my first mech mods.

19 worked great for a week, then started throwing sparks out the bottom and zapping me

So I decided to load up my .7 ohm agi on the 20 while I got to work on the 19.

I kid you not less than 10 puffs and my spring arced and stuck. Glowing hot button, battery HOT, the whole nine. I quickly unscrewed the tube outside and just let it do its thing.

This is an issue I was aware of, and I feel other people should know about.

sigelei does great at getting mechanical mods to me at a cheap price and thats IT.

This qc and design is a joke. They should come labeled "modder's kit" honestly. Got my 19 working great thanks to the fine folks on the forum and a big thanks to sigelei for sending me almost all the parts I need for a working mod. Real solid of you guys ;)

I feel like there are enough issues and fixes that it deserves its own thread, if for nothing else so people can search and share their experiences.

Im in the process of tearing apart the 20 right now to find a way to fix it. Heres the steps ive followed so far from info in another thread:
1) unscrewed 510 topper with a flat edge
2) pulled and twisted on bottom pin with needle nose. It came out easy enough
3) small screwdriver up through new hole to pop out 510 connection. Interestingly the two arced fragments of spring fell out as I did this...

And thats where im at. I am currently trying to push out the button with a 45°/45° pick and not having great luck at it. Any helpful suggestions or mods are certainly welcome at this point
