I put noiz youtube video on my facebook and summons every canadian friend I have to sign the petition, looks like a few of my friends did. We need more exposure, put the petition on your myspace, facebook, twitter, everything. Lets get this puppy up to 1000 before the end of April.

Has anyone from Toronto thought of going to Queen's Park during big protesting events and try to get signatures? One of the biggest ones is happening on May 7th, thousands of people come to show their support for the legalization of .......... I'm very confident that if a representative went out there with the petition they would get a big dent in the signatures. If the signature can be placed online, a tablet/ipad would be great to get the extra attention and signatures.

Is reaching 1000 significant in terms of being able to get the attention of someone in particular?
generally it takes as many signatures to get it noticed. On a national level like this one, 1000 wont do much, but combined with several other factors its a very important player on the team. Basically its to get noticed.
Also when the petition is finished its best if noiz takes it to the local MP. See what he says, If we can get more then 1000 its better but this one onlyh allows 1000.
My Local MP will be getting the letter/ list along with the Health Inspectorate, PM and The NDP. I also plan on helping the pending court case and starting another petition if necessary.

Signed. Though I have optimism for the future of ecigs in Canada especially with the FDA regulating them in the states again however it's true that our country can be quite slow. If anything, I see HC holding out as long as possible to collect that tax money. Hopefully our voices will keep the Harper government from taking advantage of this situation any longer than they possibly can.
