signature problem - still no resolution

hi, i tried to change my signature the other day and could not do it. sarge tried to help but gave up. i'm hoping angus will take a look. this is the message i'm getting:

The following errors occurred with your submission

• Your signature contains too many lines and must be shortened. You may only have up to 3 line(s). Long text may have been implicitly wrapped, causing it to be counted as multiple lines.

i tried to find the invisible button over the smilies as per angus' sticky to clear the history but no link seems to be there, no matter where i hover, lol.
i would appreciate some help, thanks!
