signature??

You need 15 and then wait for the system to refresh, then it will show up in Settings

Hi whispers - when you get 15 posts - how to add sig and links to sig generators here.
Just in case you want to bookmark it - or it helps you or some-one else. This question often comes up.

In your control panel click on settings in the top right of the screen then look to the middle left of your screen for a link that says add signature, copy and paste a forum code from a sig generator in there and youre all set

Dont forget to hit save

I had trouble with that as well and I wrote a random veteran member and they explained
that it was on the left side in settings and may have needed a certain amount of posts to
unlock it.

Now - I have another issue:

I have noticed members with multiple items in their signature but I cannot seem to make
that happen.

I originally started with a few lines of quote from the movie "The Patriot" but then I found
the ECF Count Banner from Stopped Smoking Date and decided to add that to it... But I
cannot!
It says you are only allowed 400 characters, including bb code. I even changed the quote
to a picture but now it says I can't have 2 pictures in the signature....

How then, do I put more than one item in there like other people have?

I would like to use the banner AND my quote like others who have 2 banners or 2 items in
their sig's.

Can anyone help me on this?

You can use the signature picture for your signature and use the banner code seperately. That is how you can have two pictures in your signature.

Well i wanted to add a sig banner to mine but if i do, it tells me i have too many lines and that i am only allowed three. If i make it three lines it tells me i am only allowed 400 characters, i only have 342 characters with three lines. I am under the max character count but it dont work. Meanwhile Oldsoldier has 6 lines of text and 475 characters. Must be some special privileges.

Thanks for the info but ... now it says:

"The following errors occurred with your submission

You have included a total of 2 images in your message. The maximum number that you may include is 1.
Please correct the problem and then continue again. "

I uploaded a .jpg image of the quote and then added the banner and that is what it comes up with...


I also tried it by simply putting the phrase in a quote tag and then added the banner and it then tells
me I have too many lines...
Problem is, I cannot see how many lines are actually there because the banner shows in the Editor as
a picture and not code or typing.
