well, I got here starter kit witch comes with the 11 mg prefilled carts. I am getting her a few different bottles so she can try different flavors. I was trying to decided whether to order her some mega carts or a drip tip for her real usage though. So I shouldn't bother with the 10ml bottle from the sounds of it.

10ml is a start and it'll probably last her for a week. I wouldn't bother with mega carts yet. Drip tips can be had for about $2 or $3 so why not toss one in. What you might want to add is some pre-filled 510 cartomizers. Cartomizers are the second most (very close second btw) preferred method so it would be a shame if you couldn't let her try them. They can be refilled pretty easily - don't just toss them when they're empty - and they are about $8 for a 5pack.

Hi fuzzee - Can you tell I was once a techy support person? Actually the manager of them too.

Hahahaha

Really - welcome and have fun. I do not recommend the clear plastic drip tips. Delrin, aluminum, steel work better IMO.

And when the stuffing gets too cranky in the standard 510 carts, try the precut 510 blue foam stuffing at Strictlyejuice.com (10 pieces for 75 cents I think)

Something else I am trying is Joye 306 (normal - not-LR) atty and 306 carts on a 510 battery and a mega 510 battery (the longer 280mah battery - its charge lasts longer). Joye 306 atty is small, cart is longer. The mega combo makes about a 130mm e-cig - a bit long but nice to have the longer charge. Probably holds less juice than a 510 cart though. 306 carts have smaller push-up juice cup (stick a small unbent paper clip in the mouth hole to push up the juice cup for filling)

And if nobody has said so already, manual batteries a preferable (for consistent hit, less work), and especially if you are dripping because the 510 manuals are sealed on the end. You could kill an auto by flooding the atty and getting juice in the battery.

Thanks for the tip, I'll order up both drip tips and cartomizers for her to try out.

Oooooh, I almost forgot. e-juice is not like dog food, one flavor or brand does not fit everyone. So the best thing to do in the beginning is to get about a million tiny little sample bottles in different flavors and nic mg strengths until she gets a few favorites going. It sounds like a big waste of money just to taste them (it is sort of) BUT it's better than having 120ml's of some crap that tastes like burned a- . Plus, you can trade or PIF the juices that she doesn't like and get some different ones.

are you currently a vaper? I assume you are since you want to skip the new members forum. So what sort of PV do you use? How long have you vaped?
<br />

I'm gonna use this to get my count up to even though i know you didnt offer to help me.haha. I'm a week long vapor and a month long researcher.lol. I use a Vapor King Mini PCC kit

I really enjoy vaping because even though Missouri isn't super anti-smoking YET its nice to be able to "get my fix" any where I need.

Making it so an individual needs to make five post in this New Member area is a counterproductive way to do this.

I have to agree. It might be more constructive to not allow you to start a thread until you've built up a little comment karma, but to disallow commenting seems weird. Anyhow, this makes number 4 for me! woot! :)

Thanks, everyone, for a great place for information. I've already learned a lot here lurking!

Homeish now
The five posts only in the new members, keeps spammers in One location. Makes the mods jobs easier, as this place is Huge. To be running all over the place trying to find where they posted, we would have to double our staff to possibly keep up.

I know you would Think that spammers would, just put in the effort to make the five posts but they very rarely do. Most of them dont seem to speak or understand english.

Catman,

Funny thing, I did used to smoke but quit. My girl on the other hand smokes a little more than a carton/week still and has been wanting to try vaping for quite some time. I just ordered here an ego from litecig and a couple bottles of juice for her to try some different flavors. We borred a 3 piece smoke51 unit from someone who didn't like it....nor did she. I believe from what I've read here she'll have a much different experience with the ego....oh and boxers of course.

Buy her a Darwin from Nhaler.com, a 510 to 901/808 stealth adapter from Avid Vaper, and a bunch of prefilled cartos from vapor4life.

If she doesn't quit smoking, PM me and I'll help you recoup some of your investment. :pervy:
