I find the first four or five rolls of the mesh have to be super tight and then its much easier from there. If I don't get them super tight I can never get the rest of the wick rolled tight enough. I am now swapping to a dual wick as I was only having ok wicking from 50mm of 500 mesh rolled tight. Max on the pit recommended 30 mm 400 rolled tight inside 30 mm of 325 , no dry hits after 5 draws holding the button down the whole time, sounds good to me:)

As good as these dogs look, ive been hearing alot of reports of some of the tube threads being boogered up and the sharp edges causing bloody hands/fingers! No one wanta a dog that bites and draws blood.

Sent from my Galaxy Note II

They were a little bit rough but easily fixed with a bit of fine sandpaper, the dog gives really GREAT flavor though and is going to be worth the perseverance IMHO.

I rolled 60mm and could barely get it in there. I still wish someone would tell me how to do those tight wicks. I tried the board method and they always come unwrapped no matter which way I roll it. Mine is literally stuck in there it is so tight.

Hey OB- Heres what I do- if it helps. I start the jack frosted mesh around a long pin maybe two wraps. Take out the pin and back and forth roll that til it sinches tight. Then roll up like a cig (doesn't matter how tight) Torch it and quench. Back and forth roll till it sinches tight. Then I roll with pressure from thumbs in same direction the mesh rolled up and its super tight. You could always torch, quench, pressure roll again but it shouldn't need it if enough pressure is applied the first time. The torch and quench helps take the springback out of it.

Owner cannot afford to feed Jethro anymore, as there are no more drug pushers, thieves, murderers, or molesters left in the neighborhood for him to eat. Most of them knew Jethro only by his Chinese street name, Ho Lee Schitt.

BTW. in the future there will be 3 beta testers of our products. Scott(Igetcha) , Gilor and Emonty.
So this things will not happened ever again.

Hey Del, you missed out scandinavia... you have to get them "winter tested" too. All the major car manufacturers test in Sweden so I think you have to do it also..

And yes... I might find the time to do it if you like :D :D

So this is what we will have to deal with for a while I guess, $400 SD's in the classies. That's just stupid. They can S my D for that price.

I'd like another SDog, but yeah...I feel the same.

Sure AG will manage, he can tame a cobra, so a dog should be a breeze for him :D

I had a few issues...
The main things I had to do was de-burr the drilled holes, threads, & a sharp edge on the button. I also had to file the top opening in the switch plate, because it caused the button to hang. My positive post tightened up with no problem. I held the isolator while I tightened from underneath.

Once I had those things sorted, I had it up & running very quickly with a 4 wrap (0.9 ohms) of 28awg on a 50mm piece of 400 unoxidized mesh. I pulsed it a few times for an even glow & added juice. I've been vaping it since Tuesday with absolutely no problems. I see a slight amount of condensation in the tank section, but not enough to be concerning. Honestly, the SDog has the best flavor of any gen I have, & I have them all...

I realize other people are having some problems, so I don't mean to minimize them, but I'm happy with the SDog so far. It performs very well for me.

You put your mesh in unoxidized with no problem, how so AG? I have to work out hot spots on the SD even with an oxidized wick. What benefit do you get from not oxidizing the wick.I agree on the flavor:)
