Silver plating my Nemesis.

Hi all,

I'm thinking of silver plating my Nemesis mod to get better conductivity.

Inspite my limited knowledge of electrical circuits i figured out that the brass pipe of the mod is a part of the circuit thus if i silverplate it in full the conductivity will increase.

Since this is a not so cheap thing to do will the benefits be noticable?

Brass has a conductivity rating of 28%, and that rating means that it's only 28% of the conductivity of annealed copper, the conductivity standard. Silver has a rating of 105%, so it's way more conductive than brass. It all depends on how important it is to reduce a small amount of voltage loss in your Nemesis. I don't know how much it will cost to silverplate it, but it might be cheaper just to buy the mod in copper, if available.

the conductive range of brass is huge there is defferant amounts of copper in dif brass, some brass being over 80percent copper
