I don't have the exact measurements, I would say same size deck on both. I will post side by side base pictures when I can so that you can get a rough idea. Build wise I can't really say one is easier than the other, but once you get the hang of it, it is easy on both.

I never had the Silverplay Nano but the original Silverplay. I would say the original Silverplay has 1/2 mm per side than the GMini.

Very very close.

Thank you, can you comment on which of these two rta's you'd say wicks better and which provides an overall more enjoyable vaping experience...? Like including building, filling, vaping, cloudage, and flavor...

Ya I own the original silver play and I've been very underwhelmed with it...which is why I'm so reluctant to jump onto this silverplay nano. Can anyone say if the draw on the nano is more open than the original silverplay v1??

I would recommend the Goblin Mini hands down.

Great flavor, and a silicone plug to close off one side if you prefer single coils.

I had the Silverplay v2 with four airflow holes. You could have either set if two airflow holes open. One set was right as a cigarette. The other two had good airflow; but if you opened all four airflow completely unrestrictive. My problem with the Silverplay was lack of flavor.

Exactly. Silverplay (Orchid and Cthulhu too) has a 13.5 mm chamber ID, the Goblins have 12.5 mm.

Thanks West.

I never took out my micrometer it just looked a little larger than the GMini.

That was from memory of the thread sizes. They're not compatible. One thing I can say for Silverplay V1/2 (not the mini) is the compatibility of the lower chamber thread with Orchid/Cthulhu and the upper chimney thread with Kayfun was a good stab at making the atty more appealing. Too bad they didn't go further. I've retired mine because they didn't extend compatibility to the tank threading as Cthulhu did.

Have you gotten to play with the Cthulhu v2? Now I've just gotta decide between that and the goblin mini lol

No. Except for the Velocity style posts and more air I don't see a lot of special in the Cthulhu V2 over the V1. Went for the UD Bellus instead. Don't know what else you have so it's hard to say. But for my money I'd go for a Goblin Mini clone, a Cthulhu V1 clone, and a Fountain V2 (my current infatuation) and still be paying less than one Cthulhu V2.

Two standout qualities of the Goblin Mini besides small size: very bright vapor and flavor because of the shorter distance between coil and mouth; noisy because of the AFC design.

You don't think the ability to swap out decks depending on if you're in the mood for a single coil or dual coil Vape is "special"??!
As far as I know, it's the first atty to incorporate this feature, not to mention both decks come standard i.e. not as an added accessory you have to purchase if you want that functionality...

I don't think its special, you can use single coils on the Goblin mini as well. The single coil deck is pretty weak in the airflow department, and should have been an accessory IMO (I would say most people bought it for the V style dual coil deck), with a lower retail price for the Cthulhu v2, $40 is just too much for a China RTA with hit and miss quality issues (and janky juice control system).

Fair point. Does make it a better deal. Still, you can vape only one at a time. With my suggestion you could have three filled and ready to use. More and different is better. :p:)

Agreed. Not to mention that the vape with the Goblin Mini is something special in its own right.

This repeat in V2 of Cthulhu V1's manufacturing quality issues is definitely off-putting. Jeesh, who sends out a message to its customers: we will be getting a better CNC machine.

I heard the bellus has leaking issues, especially when filling...

As far as the flavor goes you can't go wrong with any of them. Erlkonigin is single coil rta it is good but is a cooler vape and flavour is there, so every now and then I find myself going back to it. Flavour wise between the other two its kinda difficult, I would say they are very close. Goblin Mini would be 1st place finisher with Silverplay nano coming very very close second. But for me overall award would go to Silverplay nano, building the tank is faster and easier, you get a bell cap. Only thumbs down for Silverplay nano would be no airflow control and the short mouth piece.

I received a clone of the SP Nano today.

Here are my initial impressions.

Build quality GOOD.

Juice capacity a little more than the GMini.

Airflow more than the GMini but I am rocking it in single coil mode by plugging the unused juice wells with cotton held in place by chimney

Flavor VERY CLOSE TO THE GMini. It's a coin flip really! Definitely beats the Orchid and Kayfun Nano

Cons.

No airflow adjustment. If you want to restrict the airflow and use dual coils lower the coils to restrict airflow.

One of my negative posts had two post holes for some reason.

Have only tries the Bell cap so no comment on the glass tank. I HATE the red plastic drip tip meant for the Bell cap

PROS

Better build quality than my Goblin Mini clone.

Screws seem to be better quality than screws in the GMini clone.

Standard 510 drip tip but mine was a bit tight.

I see one BIG advantage. Standard o ring at the bottom easier to replace than the flat silicone rings for the GMini. First impression you may be able to replace with a Kayfun or Orchid O ring.

This is a possibility will confirm when I need to refill. The chimney screws into the Bell cap the way the GMini screws into the Bell cap. The GMini would often stay in the Bell cap. If the SP Nano chimney stays in the Bell cap you will be able to re wick rebuild without dumping your juice. You could also bottom fill without removing the screw EVER.

I have to say this SP Nano clone for flavor blows the doors of of Billow V2 Nano authentic I had and sold on eBay. I had the Billow V2 Nano all the way to 40 watts and could not get any flavor out of it. I had been rocking my Kayfun Nano at 12.5 watts and that is where I started the SP Nano, and the flavor was just as good as the flavor I get from the GMini.

A little more room for the coils than the Orchid and maybe the GMini. 1/4-1/2 mm Tops

Am I entirely happy with the SP

If I was designing the block with post holes for the Orchid, GMini, and SP Nano I would lower the post holes 1/2 mm or raise the block 1/2 mm above the post holes. When the post holes are open the screws get VERY wobbly and losing one of these tiny screws would be hard to find. Two or three extra threads would make the screws more secure.

Summation. I HAVE A NEW GO TO RTA. My days of Kayfuns and Orchids IS OVER.

Earlier I tried to fake a SP Nano with Kayfun Nano chimney and Bell cap. I never was able to get any flavor out if that but this is GREAT

In the beginning I thought I would hate the single piece chimney but it has won me over.

Thank you for the thorough review. I can see it having an edge on the G-Mini because of the wider chimney. I'm tempted.

Did you get the bell cap with yours and have you tried it?

One of my negative posts had two post holes for some reason.

That second hole is intended to be auxiliary air flow also fed from the bottom of the base. Should have a screw down there to open or close it. I saw the current authentic version on Vapordna.com that had an extra hole in both of the negative posts. Can't do much, but I'd be curious if you can tell the difference with it open or closed.
