For me, straight VG was lighter all the way around... kind of like drawing on an unlit cig. The vapor it creates is great though. There are a couple of things you can try with the PG that might help.

1) Make sure you ALWAYS have something hydrating to drink close by. The PG is very drying which can irritate your throat in itself, especially if you're new to vaping. (If you are new you may also get used to it. Just like smoking it can take some time for your body to adjust.) I am never without a glass of decaf tea or water now days. You can also keep something like Halls fruit breezers in your pocket for times when a drink is inconvenient.

2) Pick up some VG from Wal-Mart. You can find it in the first aid isle, or buy the one from Wiltons at a Hobby Lobby or Michaels.... whichever type, make sure it's USP. Try cutting a small portion of your regular vape a little at a time until you get it to a point where it doesn't irritate your throat. Once you know what kind of mix you need, several different vendors can custom mix your order. I mix my own and currently cut mine at 85% PG, 15% VG for the extra vapor that VG produces.

Hope this helps.

What stormfinch said is spot on...

the exhale is thick and huge but the inhale is kinda like thin air,it also tends to wash out some flavors.

I did notice that some of the oversea's sellers are offering a third option something call polyethylene glycol.

PEG as well as PG and VG

dont know anything about it but it might be worth looking into.
