Simple 6V mod in 2AA box

I got some protected CR2s to play around with, and here are the results:

Took a little creative dremel work, but it vapes like a champ and it's pretty small. Only thing it needs is a smaller switch. The flashlight is just a 14500 mod that happened to be on my desk..

Them are nice. Now if you pick up a terminator to screw onto it you'll have a variable volt for peanuts. I'm going to make a 6volt and get one. You did an excellent job on those.

How thin is the cover where you scooped it out for the batteries?

Pretty dang thin. I didn't measure; I just kept grinding 'till they fit. It's still pretty sturdy.

Nice work. It's a lot of sanding, I know from experience. How do your CR2's hold up? Mine kept crapping out so the mod is sitting in a box soemwhere.

I've been using one of these on all my plastic stuff: Dremel #192 Ball Tip High Speed Steel Cutter | Dremel Cutters

Works miracles without the melty effect, for the most part. Probably took me about 10 minutes to do the box.

The protected CR2s I got from madvapes are doing pretty good for me so far. Holding up better than the 14500s, trustfire or ultrafire either one Maybe my luck is just weird.

Unless you meant how long a set lasts.. in which case, the cr2s are lasting me about one day, where the 14500s I run in my 5 volt mods are doing 2-3 days, before the wrappers come off and they fall apart or stop taking a charge third time I use them. I'm a fairly light vaper, though I am running high nic juices and getting huge volumes of vapor with my boge cartos at higher voltages.

Yeah, I got the same CR2's from mad vapes and the protection keeps going off. Then when that doesn't happen they are out of juice crazy fast.
Can't really vape on it without sitting next to the charger.
