I have seen vendors now putting up an area on their website for already steeped juice. Ms Ts Bakery is one of them, I can't remember the others. In fact, Ms T drops her prices weekly on steeped juice... so someone could get it half off or more. So would I pay more for steeped juice? Absolutely not.

Totally agree with CayCay. ;)

I would not. I would, however, possibly buy from one vendor over another if their juices are steeped, especially samples if I'm trying them out. I have in fact already done that with BWB, they offer pre-steeped juices sometimes.

Personally I don't understand why they don't mix up a huge batch of their best sellers in common pg/vg ratios and nic levels and sell them that way. While I do like being able to customize my juice to the exact ratio's I want, I could live with 10% more or less pg or something if it was pre-steeped, especially if it came with a bit of a discount.

I think the better question here is, "would you compromize your pg/vg ratio and/or nic level for pre-steeped juice". As a vendor, it doesn't cost them anymore to make a juice and pre-steep it, but it does create a problem if you want 73% pg 27% vg at 13.8mg of nic and want it pre-steeped. If we start demanding pre-steeped juices we are probably going to see less ability to customize our order.

Personally I'd like the option of ordering either. In nother words, give me the option of ordering JuiceXYZ at 18mg 50/50 pre-steeped, or I can order it and customize the ratio but it will be unsteeped. I don't see this being a big issue for the vendors as I'm sure, as an example, HHV has sold plenty of Gandalf at 50/50 or 70/30 at 18mg. I can't imagine they'd be worried about having to throw away part of a 500ml batch two years from now if they mixed it up at those ratios. I'm quite confident it would sell well before it would expire. For the life of me I can't figure out why the vendors haven't started doing that already.

I gotta say..pre steeped by whose standards? What one person likes fresh out of the box might need to be steeped for 2 wks by another and vice/versa. When I buy the juice..I steep it to my specifications for free be it overnight..48hours, a week..etc etc depending on the juice. I determine when I think it's time. Nah..I just can't see myself paying rental space on a vendor's shelf for juice. My shelf works just fine. :)
