First of all, my apologies for having to make this thread. I posted a thread about 2 years back when JC went out of business (about the same day in fact) and I requested help from members to recommend a simple equipment supplier to replace the Vea.

I felt very fortunate that someone stepped in and flat out made their recommendation with a link. I think it was an E-GO maker?

Basically I wanted a tank system so I can fill it with juice and the supplier of course needs to sell coils.

To give you an idea of the depths I have sunk, I am currently using the Vuse and getting raked over the coals for 13.49 every 3 days. How in the world can these people charge so much!? Don't get me wrong this thing is sleek, charges in a jiffy and hits without a button (draw activation); its just they are totally robbing me on the juice!

Please help me. I KNOW I am being ripped off!!

So if I am understanding you correctly, you want something easy to deal with, easy to get, and that if the company does die, you can at least keep the mod.

I’ve got a couple of choices for you. I used vapecrawler to find some theoretically decent prices but there may be better out there.

1) a kroma-a kit. You want the one with the zenith atty. the battery is good for about a year, at which point you toss it and get something else. It’s a 510 connector though so just about anything else is fine. The coils aren’t super easy to find, but they’re cheap and available.

2) Nautilus2s tank (or anything with a BVC coil) & any single battery mod that suits your fancy. BVC coils are decent, have been around forever, are more widely available than just about any other coil, and show no signs of going away.

3) a geekvape flint. This one is mostly here because it’s small and cheap. Plus it has a 510 connector. It’s sort of a bigger better done ego kit

Thank you. Since I really mean it when I say I am simple, I am going to choose the Geek option. Do they sell the coils too?

LOL. I went to my email to check if someone had replied here and the message before the ECF reminder was from VUSE: "Welcome to the Vuse family!". You are welcome Vuse and thanks for such reasonably priced juice tanks! >.<

On the same page they have the option to purchase a 5 pack of coils for 6.99

Bombastinator has covered the main options well.

Depending where you are and whether or not you work in hard conditions - if you are simply looking for a small simple set up then it could be worth looking at the good old iStick 30w for a mod, topped with either an original Nautilus Mini or a GS Air tank ( about the cheapest tank you can get!)

Both of these are a bit old style and both are bottom fills but they do deliver a good vape.

As has been said the Nautilus Mini coils are readily available and are used in other tanks, so as far as we know there are no imminent plans to do away with them.

Regarding the GS Airs, other sellers such as Totally Wicked are putting their own versions out ( called the CS Air ), the coils for them are cheap and the 0.75 Ohm ones can last up to six weks if you use clear liquid and vape them around 6.8 - 8 watts.

In a posh vape shop in Fuengirola, Spain, yesterday I even saw these GS Air tanks on sale alongside of expensive set ups geared to produce big clouds like a steam engine!

I use something like this (they don't sell exactly what I have now)

Mod: Siglei E2 Tank: TFV12 w/ RBA (The king, not the baby or prince)
Battery: Some 18650
Some tools to make your own coils
Some cotton and wire

For one month of Vuse, you could have the whole setup (maybe x2) and never buy coils again. Buy your juice bulk, mix and you can vape 10-20ml a day for cents.

I have the Sig E2 and TFV4 with single coil RBA (a few of them), works great, USB charge (it's decent, I tested) and a replaceable battery. Replacement glass is cheap (I've broke about 6 glass tubes so far). It works, and I'm pretty happy with it.
